The Art House
The stay was peaceful and our hostess very accommodating. We were there for a short weekend to visit The Sand Dunes. Lovely weekend! The rental was very clean and tidy. That is at the top of my list. Beautiful and unusual art throughout. Thanks Angela!

The perfect getaway in a magical space!
Calling this VRBO magical is right! We had a fantastic getaway to this beautiful, artsy, quiet vacation rental at the base of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. The views were gorgeous, and no joke, we walked out the front door the first evening and saw a full double rainbow right in front of us flanked by the green mountain range and dramatic clouds. Wow!! Then our wonderful host Angela offered to build a bonfire, and we roasted marshmallows by the sunset until the amazing starry sky set in. The house is full of fun artistic touches everywhere you look, and we kept discovering new spaces like a game room, secret garden room with a hammock chair, a karaoke machine, a massage chair, and the supply-filled kitchen and outdoor grill (the hummingbirds entertained us as we cooked out there). Angela also gave us insider tips for the Great Sand Dunes, which made the national park so much more special. We missed out on her Sound Bath or secret tour on this trip, but I can only imagine that they are special too. There is also a local Stupa meditation monument on the grounds, which gave us feelings of peace amongst nature. What a unique family experience for us, we would love to visit again once Angela and Brian finish building the next fun space -- a UFO-shaped tiny house on the grounds... it is going to be unreal! Thanks for a fabulous vacation!

If Angela Offers It - Say Yes!!
Such an incredible time in this space. We opted into Angela's Sound Bath and Local Excursion experiences and could not have been more pleased. It was my partner's birthday and everything was so magical and fun!! We saw some great natural spots from creeks to forests to crystal structures - seriously the best of all the worlds. If you go, make sure to check out all the local Stupas too! (One of them is right next to the property!!) Seriously, this is one of those "can't miss" deals!

Just book it - don't hesitate
Amazing is an absolutely inadequate description of the property and it's owner, Angela. The house instantly puts you at ease, and Angela does the same. It's magic, pure and simple. Complete magic. Spend an evening by the fire with Angela and Olive. Trust her guidance on every hike, hot spring, stupa, food, shop.... Anything. This was our first trip of what we hope was many. Also, Google takes you to the wrong driveway - my only issue with accuracy. Once you park, its perfect. Thank you for sharing this beautiful, sacred space, Angela. See you next time ❤️

Great Place! Great Host!
We loved staying at Angela’s place, and had a great weekend in Crestone. It’s a unique property, and Angela is helpful, kind, fun, and overall wonderful! This is place is truly unique and special. We also did a sound bath with Angela, which was incredible. We look forward to coming back and staying here again. Thank you Angela!

This place is special! So is the host.
This home called "House of Sound" is not just accommodation, it's an experience! Spending the weekend in this unique place was fantastic for our family of 4. The host is a delightful person who is excited to share her home with you and available on the property when you need her but never intruding on your private getaway. She will offer to start a bonfire for you and leave you to relax and enjoy. Tour the eclectic artistic, spiritual little town of Crestone 10 minutes from the property. Hot Springs and Great Sand Dunes are nearby day excursions.

Great place to relax
Even so we arrived late, Angela picked us up at the Kiosk so we would not get lost. The property is very unique and spacious. Lots of special little nooks to just chill. I loved the hummingbirds and the deer in the morning. If you need anything Angela will make it happen. Let her tell you about the Stupa, architecture and anything in-between. I would recommend this place.
