There’s a private bridge across the street leading to the village and the lifts, or strap on the provided snowshoes and explore at your own pace. Visitors during the warm months will be surrounded by hiking and mountain biking opportunities, and no matter what time of year, you’ll love the community hot tub, right around the corner. Several restaurants and shops are within walking distance, and the town of Crested Butte is just a few minutes’ drive away.

At home, grab some coffee on your private deck and admire the gorgeous views, then step inside to make some breakfast. High ceilings fill the entire space with abundant light and the comfy furnishings make it feel like home. cozy and great location

We came to CB on a couples ski trip. The location of this property was absolutely perfect for us. The lifts are just a 5 minute walk from the front door. The home was very cozy, clean, and complete with all essentials. We stayed for NYE and got to see the torchlit ski-down and fireworks right from the balcony, which was so cool! The only negative aspect of our stay was the very limited parking- I think there were several visitors of the neighboring properties that did not follow the two spot rule, so we struggled finding parking nearly every time we came back from town. Overall, we loved this property.

This listing said “newly renovated”, so I assumed it was going to be nice and clean and upgraded. The only remodeling that it looked like they did was maybe new carpet and a coat of paint in one of the bedrooms. If you like clean, this place is not for you. The building is old and worn down, very dirty, trim missing from the bathrooms, all the fixtures and flooring all falling apart, kitchen wasn’t cleaned properly, you could barely see out of the windows they were so dirty. The bathrooms were disgusting, I didn’t even want to shower in them. There were safety hazards so not good for small children. Stains on the sheets. There was black mold all inside the washer and it stunk so bad. That is the washer they use to wash our linens. I do not recommend staying here if you want to be comfortable and confident that the place is clean.

Clean and comfy

This place is older but very clean and well maintained. Extremely well equipped kitchen. Easy access to slopes via pedestrian bridge. Good WiFi. Great view of the mountain from the big windows. Comfy foam beds. Perfect for a few days of skiing. Would stay here again.

Arrival and entry easy. Kitchen not super stocked for cooking, old pans and knives. Blinds falling apart, patio a total mess, carpeting covered with burn holes from a woodburning stove that was closed to guests. Bathrooms super old and reminded me of the cheapest motel I’ve ever stayed in, especially the upstairs. Fridge sounds like it’s on its last legs. No mud room so coming back from the slopes caused a wet floor everywhere. Best part: great beds. Humidifer cleanish, ready in the master closet. And good communication with the person overseeing the property.

Avoid this property if you can.

I was provided parking permits for 3 day stay. I was contacting both help line and via text no action and instead I was told to write all the information on a paper on the dash board. I had to check for my truck every morning to make sure it was not towed. This was a bit problem. Cleaning: pet hair on the sofas, recycle was not emptied, the soap from previous stay was not even removed. The Cleaning fee they charge is just not real. Main door lock: looks like there was a break in. The main door lock was damaged and secured with duct tape from inside. This was a big concern during our stay. Overall I would not recommend this property to anyone. The whole experience was stressful and not at all a vacation for us.
