Chalets in Crested Butte

'There are not a lot of food options within walking distance, but the town of Crested Butte is just a short drive where there are a lot of dining options. This is the third summer we've stayed at the Grand Lodge and it has been great every time.'

'Not a new cookie cutter hotel, but an authentic carefully managed property with a personal touch. We especially enjoyed the comfort of the lobby where you can use your hotel room card to purchase a glass of wine or a 2 oz shot of booze. The name may be nordic, but I would call it Bavarian. The door in the bathroom was solid wood and the ceiling was wood. The breakfast room was thoughfully organized and the free breakfast was about as good as you can get without a cook. 'It was a good stay. Friendly and useful staff at the front desk. Overall, the room was great. The bottom floor entrances need some maintenance and cleaning. I am glad i was staying in the second floor.'
