    Piscine privée

    Le logement à La Vista se compose de deux maisons de poste et de poutre appelées affectueusement The Shack and The Studio. Ils peuvent chacun dormir 4 invités. Chaque maison dispose d'un lit queen-size et d'un canapé-lit queen-size avec matelas à ressorts.
    Ils sont tous les deux exclusivement à vous.
    Idéalement, un couple peut rester dans le studio et un autre couple et / ou des enfants peuvent avoir la cabane. Deux couples peuvent avoir l'intimité d'avoir leur propre immeuble. Les deux bâtiments ont une salle de bain avec douche, lavabo et toilettes. Le studio dispose également d'une baignoire avec vue sur le cap Tribulation. La mer de corail et Thorntons Peak (troisième plus haute montagne du Queensland). Des draps et des serviettes de grande qualité sont fournis.

    La cabane a une cuisine entièrement équipée avec un barbecue, un four à pizza, une cuisinière à gaz et un grand réfrigérateur / congélateur avec machine à glaçons et distributeur d'eau froide.
    Il y a une table à manger, une table de billard, une télévision à écran plat avec lecteur DVD / stéréo et un port auxiliaire pour votre appareil.
    Le studio a une cuisine avec un réfrigérateur sous le comptoir et une glacière. Il y a un moulin à café et une bouilloire. L'office est vraiment juste pour le petit déjeuner, le déjeuner, les casse-croûte et les boissons.
    Le pont supérieur à côté du studio a un hamac, un canapé et une petite table et des chaises. Détendez-vous, lisez, profitez de la vue. Le salon dispose d'un canapé confortable, d'une grande télévision à écran plat avec Foxtel Movies et de haut-parleurs JBL Stereo avec port auxiliaire pour votre appareil.

    Il y a presque toujours une brise sur la colline à La Vista. Pour les journées sensuelles, il y a des ventilateurs turbo dans chaque pièce.
    Les deux bâtiments ont une couverture WiFi gratuite.

    La piscine et le spa se trouvent sous le pont supérieur du studio.
    La terrasse de la piscine est le meilleur endroit pour se rafraîchir, se détendre, boire un verre et profiter de la vue fantastique.

What a truly amazing place! We have stayed in many wonderful places around the world but this is definitelyone of the most memorably. The view is totally unbelievable, with a vast expanse of rainforest in front of you and no other houses in sight. It was lovely to cool off in the pool in the middle of the hot day and look out towards the rainforest. We had fun eating outdoors and using the outdoor kitchen and were pleasantly surprised by the lack of bugs. The bed in the studio retreat was very comfortable. Our kids slept in the shack and liked having their own space. The couch was a little hard to sleep on but there was a thin mattress that we put on the couch which made it a little softer. We definitely recommend this gorgeous property to anyone who is lucky enough to stay in the daintree. Dean was very helpful with hints of what to do in the area. Thank you for an unforgettable stay.

We loved the openness of this place and the outdoor kitchen where we could enjoy the views. No need for aircon when you have the open (fly screen) breeze.

OMG!!!! This place is AMAZING!!!!! Dean has thought of everything…. And then some!! Lots of unexpected little extras. We were just in awe of this place! The rustic and interesting layout of both dwellings the tranquility and feeling at one with our surroundings. We were all amazed at the fact we encountered very few mosquitoes and I think we may have seen 4 flies the entire time!!! Even though we had a fair bit of rain during our stay we didn’t mind. It was so relaxing and we had lots of sunny breaks. We arrived in the dark …. But the. to wake up to the most magnificent view from our bed in what we referred to as the treehouse (formerly known as the studio) over rainforest towards the mountains and the sea was breathtaking. The name LA VISTA is so very fitting!! The pictures just don’t do it justice .. it’s so far beyond what we imagined. We couldn’t wait to share our experience with everyone. What an experience, Thank you Dean for sharing this slice of heaven with the world. We had planned to explore even more of the daintree over our 5 night stay but found ourselves staying on site a little more than we anticipated we would. It was certainly just what we needed!! Will be back 🙏😊 Oh one extra tip for future visitors. Don’t be intimidated by the driveway looking a little steep at first. Our horrid MG hire car didn’t like it much until we took it out of auto and put it into 1st gear both up and down. Not a problem in the world. 😊👍

Fantastic Location

La Vista is an amazing property located in its own glade in the Daintree. The views out to Cape Tribulation are second to none and many evenings were spent just taking in this location (with the support of the odd beer/wine). We booked this to experience living in the forest with all this entails (incredible wildlife noises at night). Dean was a very responsive owner and very much respected our privacy. In summation if you want to experience the Daintree in a comfortable stilt house this property is for you.

A unique and magical property. The views are even better than in the website. We loved the open-air layout and the pool is fantastic - wonderful outlook and very cooling in a FNQ summer. Our teenage kids loved the separate shack with cable tv and pool table.

The Pictures don't do La Vista justice

La Vista was everything we hoped it would be. Truly, Dean's pictures do not do the setting justice. The views are gorgeous with Thornton Peak to the west and Cape Trib to the east. The sunrises and sunsets were magical. It was the perfect place to reunite with our son who has been in Australia since January. La Vista was also the perfect home base to explore the The Daintree, We hiked Mt. Sorrow, walked miles of beaches and discovered the undersea world of the Great Barrier Reef. But our favorite thing was just spending time back at La Vista. Cooking dinner together every night was great fun. I will admit I was skeptical of the outdoor kitchen and bugs, but none of my worries ever materialized! What made our stay at La Vista even better was Dean. He was so nice and helpful. We are so grateful to him for opening up his beautiful property to us for this very special trip! It was beyond perfect!

Amazingly beautiful view!

The view is what hooked me. We enjoyed the inside outside living. The house has lots of instructions and found it easy to navigate the systems. We were there for 4 days and felt the location was a great jumping off point to explore the area. We went on a jungle walk, croc tour, snorkeling, entomology museum, and played on the beaches. This was my first time staying in a rain forest and I felt like I got a chance to truly experience it.

Jaw dropping!

Stunning doesn't even come close to describing this property! Everything is perfect! The bed is super comfortable but is nothing compared to spending mornings and evenings relaxing in the hammock taking in the views. The property is well stocked for everything you need in a stay. Highly recommended!

What a view!

We had a great stay in La Vista. A breathtaking view, no neighbours in sight, you get the impression of being all alone in the rainforest, but with all the comfort you need! Tha shack and the studio are built with love and all is very well thought. The two Beds are really comfortable, but the additional sofa beds would do harm to the back of an adult. Those who sleep in the shack will hear animals going around the house in the night. In the studio, you just hear the birds singing. Dean was not on the site, but karen lives nearby and answered promptly to all our questions. Thanks a lot, Dean and Karen! Kerstin, nov. 2016

A wonderful adventure.

We had a great time. The house was very nice and open. We were pleasantly surprised that there were so few bugs and mosquitos and we didn't have any problems with that. The view is stunning. We can definitely recommend it.
