'Came to Castlemaine with family members of six, and had family from Abbeyfeale come down for some games and picture album viewing. It was the perfect location with lots of room for us to have a great time full of laughter and craic.'

The property is located within walking distance of all of Kenmare's activities, restaurants, and shops. The kitchen is well-appointed and the bedrooms and bathrooms extremely comfortable. It truly felt like we were visiting our artistic aunt's house with beautiful art and attention to design in every room.'

'Stayed with two other couples and two friends. This place was perfect for the whole gang. Lots of space to hangout together as well as extremely spacious bedrooms. The owner was quick to respond to questions and accommodated early and late check in/out. The property is a very manageable 4 min walk from the heart of downtown. We walked to and from for the wedding that had us there for the weekend. Everything was great! Would definitely book this place again.'

'Great location for Killarney National Park. We stayed 5 days and walked Gap of Dunloe then boated across, Ring of Kerry with boat trip to Skelligs, day trip to Blarney castle and Cobh , Dingle and Slea Head and golfing at Beaufort golf course. Very well equipped kitchen. Two bedrooms with ensuites have showers with bath shower combo in main bath. Great for two couples or family. You do need a car. Host was great and offered suggestions that helped make our stay special.'

'Mooi ongericht praktisch nieuw huis, van alle gemakken voorzien. 2 slaapkamers met tweepersoonsbed en ieder een eigen badkamer. Nog 2 slaapplekken op vide, maar geen stahoogte (dus minder geschikt voor volwassenen). Compleet uitgeruste keuken met vaatwasser, oven en Nespresso machine. Flatscreen T V. Huis ligt wel afgelegen, 30 min rijden naar dichtstbijzijnde dorp. Wel centraal in Ring van Kerry met veel te zien en te doen in de buurt. Zeker een aanrader!'

'We really enjoyed Elizabeth’s home. The views were wonderful, the home relaxing and comfortable. The walk into town was easy- although the walk back up the hill was challenging ( no fault of Betty’s haha) The location couldn’t have been better for the day excursions and it’s nice to be able to leave and return at will. Next time we are in County Kerry we will definitely visit again!'

'The location is beautiful and private and easy to find . Accommodation is spacious and comfortable enough ( apart from the pillows but everyone has different preferences) but felt a bit dark . It seems there is a damp issue as the property unfortunately smelt mildewy and the bed clothes were all damp on arrival which meant we had to use own blankets for the night - we wondered if there is scope to improve ventilation . The water took a long time to heat for a bath … We walked on local footpath...

'It was the perfect place for us staying in Dingle for 28 days! Douglas was very attentive to ALL my concerns or questions! Just a suggestion for guests unfamiliar with the oven - like us - have information somewhere on how to use the oven? Thank goodness for the internet and we figured it out!'

'Ik hoef allleen maar te verwijzen naar de eerdere beoordelingen. Prachtige zeer ruime woning, schitterend uitzicht, prachtige omgeving. Om te golfen zijn wij naar Parknasilla gegaan. Dat ligt op ongeveer 40 minuten rijden over de Ring of Kerry in zuidelijke richting. 18 holes € 30 pp. Clubs huren voor € 20 per set. Hogs Head € 250 pp. Prijs huren golfset hebben we maar niet meer gevraagd. De boottocht vanaf Portmagee naar de Skelligs is zeer de moeite waard.'

'We chose this house so we could visit Skellig Island. Sadly, the trip was cancelled due to stormy weather but we didn't mind too much as the house was such a pleasure to hunker down in! We used our downtime to catch up on showers, laundry, rest, and relaxation before resuming our tour around Ireland. It was a lovely house with plenty of room to spread out, watch Banshees of Inisherin, and eat take away from Dooley's in our PJs.
