'The room was clean and well maintained during our stay. The property is a bit old and dated but comfortable enough. There are two pools and both have unusual layouts where you are not really able to sit by the pool to socialize or to watch your children if you have children with you. Only one of the pools have chairs at all and they are located on a "sun deck" on one side of the pool that is not visible from the part of the pool where you swim. 'Lovely little cottage and wonderful restaurant and staff. We knew booking there was no pool; planned on ocean swims but water wasn’t very clear and did not appear clean. There are better places to stay at similar price but enjoyed experience. '

'This my second time staying at this place and when I thought things would have been better after the first time, It became worst. When I arrived the reception was closed from after 4pm or 5pm. my flight landed 7:40pm. The entrance gate was closed I had to open it on my own. 'The Golden Rock is a one of a kind property and we cannot wait to go back. The cleanliness was a 10/10 and the landscaping was absolutely stunning. The restaurant was excellent for every meal we had. I highly recommend the conch chowder. Thank you Golden Rock! '

'The room we originally had had a lot of ant's they moved us to another room no problem the mini fridge in both rooms did not work. The towels and wash cloths were not white at all they were stained or had stains of yellow on them. They have one shuttle that takes you to the beach so if your flight leaves early but you arrive to the hotel after 11 you have to wait to the next day. THE ELEVATORS DID NOT WORK. Front desk person said "they work when they want" one elevator was out the whole time I...
