'Stayed at Coastal Retreat for a weekend visit with son who attends Fairfield University, brought both sets of parents and teen daughter (ages ranging 73-16), plenty of room and able to enjoy a wonderful family dinner with son even in attendance. 'The house is in a great location in New Rochelle, near to a train station to commute to the city and for family coming in on Amtrak from Boston. The main floor of the house is cozy with a lovely kitchen and lots of seating space. Bedrooms were a nice size and we all felt the beds were extremely comfortable. Shower was really nice, too. Owner was responsive and easy to work with throughout the process.'

'The location was great and thre property was almost perfect for our needs. The only negative issue was ants. When we got up the first morning of our stay the counter was teeming with ants. There were several ant traps on the counters but they were pretty ineffective Otherwise, the house was great.'

'The place was well decorated, organized and well appointed. The location was quiet and peaceful. The only challenge is parking, so wear your walking shoes! If you are over 5’10”, be warned: the ceilings are low. It has good lighting, good wifi, and big tv for the space. Owners were responsive and welcoming.
