Strandhotels in Coronado Island

'Unit was located at a busy street with many loud motorcycles as choppers and cars with extreme loud engines, as seems to be the culture in southern California. My sleep was interrupted many times because of this. At my request to relocate I only got an answer 4 days (and difficult nights) later. In the new unit the TV malfunctioned, the remote could only be used for changing the channel and not volume or even de-activate the TV. You had to do this with a button on the TV. TV itself did not work...

'Great location! They have a few bicycles to go to the beach. The neighbourhood has some fine restaurants. You can walk to the ferry that brings you into the Gaslamp district. Unfortunately the price for this 3 minute cross-over is priced a 8 US$ single journey. '

'The hotel is very conveniently located across from the famous Del. Unfortunately, our room was not as clean as it could've been. When we were out for the day, they brought towels into the room but did not even make the bed. The shower was a trickle, which made it very difficult to bathe properly. As for amenities, there's a small motel sized pool. The parking lot was very small, but fortunately we found a spot. Breakfast was adequate, pretty much the typical free breakfast you get at most...
