'We absolutely loved our stay. The property is immersed in nature, close but far enough from Seward. The cabins are basic but this is really the point. The highlight of our stay was surely the friendliness of Gary (the manager/owner) and even his friends. A true pearl, a true local stay. Kids loved it too! The only place we stayed in Alaska that had its own playground, close to the lake. No small feat!'

'After spending time at a “cabin” near the Kenai river where the description was misleading at best, this felt 5 star. Clean, spacious and fully equipped. I love that the firewood was bountiful and the home had all major appliances. The beds were super comfortable and it was a treat to have a nice bathroom. The shower was like those you get in a fancy 5 star resort. I will book this again!'

'Ok except for lots of black ants . Killed 25 or so the 1st day. Then we sprayed and it was just a few a day! Wives may not enjoy but on the river, nice cleaning area.'
