'The garden of the house is really fantastic with a nice view to the mountains, different terraces with also areas in the shadow. The area around the hiuse is really great with granada and tge beach within 30 min. Owner of the house is really friendly and supportive.'

'We loved the house, the pool was very nice (not heated, that was not ideal in april) and on cold days the fireplace is wonderful. The kitchen works very fine, but it could be a little cleaner. The house is perfectly situated, close to the main road, but also on walking distance to the beach. Almunecar itself is a lovely village, the centre is very nice, and also the aquarium and the birds zoo are worth a visit!'

'Nice, spacious and clean house with upstanding forniture and design. Car is needed to go to the beach, but it's a feature easily understandable from the map and the description (no bad surprises) and it provides access to the complex swimming pool (very nice). Only weak spot: there was absolutely nothing in the house, not even toilet paper or salt. Strongly suggested an early arrival to do your own shopping!'

'We hebben met 7 volwassenen genoten van het prachtige karakteristieke huis en de grote tuin met meerdere 'kamers' In het voorjaar was het een beetje koud, in de zomer is dit een ideale plek met veel schaduw. Het is niet midden in Almunecar gelegen, wel overal dichtbij. Manuel is een prettige host, heel ontspannen allemaal. Een aanrader!!'

'El principal problema que hemos tenido, es la falta de aire acondicionado. Había dos aparatos estropeados, uno de ellos en la habitación principal y con los que había no acondicionaban la vivienda. Se avisó a la propiedad y no nos dio una solución. El wifi tampoco fue hasta el tercer día, después de avisar. 'Reaching the villa is an adventure, driving over a very steep but well drivable narrow road. If you rent a car (you do need a car!!) you should go for a diesel. We didn't. Our Nissan Micra made it barely through the hairpins in first gear. A diesel would have been much easier to drive. Once there you get an astonishing view over Almunecar, the hills and the sea.
