« We had such a wonderful stay, made even better by the property owners!They were available for questions and when my Uncle arrived first, apparently chatty - he found their company so welcoming. The cabin had a little swing out front that the kids loved. We loved the pool and the commercial kitchen adjoining it - we are thinking birthday celebrations u der the Pavillion next year! Wonderful stay. »

« We enjoyed our visit at Hunter Ridge Cabins, the on sight staff is friendly and outgoing. They frequently checked in with us to assure our needs were met. They also made suggestions for local events and businesses to attend. We also loved their dogs, Riggs and Kate. »

« August 2025 family vacation was great the whiskey mountain Valley Cabins were amazing from check in to check out. Check-in was a breeze. The owners made it very easy and very straightforward with how to check in, they even let us know if that the cabin was ready way before our check in. The kitchen was great. They were fully equipped with utensils, pots and pans they provided a coffee maker and microwave. Everything was great. The cabin was literally like in their description just minutes away...

« I booked 2 days at the Uvalde side of the duplex. It was a spontaneous trip, and I was relieved at how easy it was to book our stay. It was my first time using VRBO, so I was a little hesitant…but everything went great! The property was beautiful! We loved the cozy feel. The property was close to Garner State Park, which was a plus for us. The host was very precise/clear with the check-in and check-out procedures. « Quick boys trip to float the river. Location was convenient to Happy Hollow for launch and cabin was comfortable, easily accessible and just what we needed. Firepit was great for smores each night. Great communication throughout the booking and stay process. »

« Great house, had everything we needed for a family of 9, very roomy. House was nice and cool when we arrived...big plus not having to wait to cool down since we had a baby with us. Beds where comfortable. Loved the water pressure! Cute little store right across from us(very reasonable prices)Close to everything... five mins to Leakey and 20 mins to Lost Maples for a morning hike. And 5 mins to relax in the river, which was great cuz it was FREE. The only thing I would suggest is putting some...

« Everything was great. However there is no TV so be prepared to spend that day outside or bring board games. Not much to do at night. We were gone during the day everyday but would have been nice to watch at night. Also if you plan on cooking they have everything but seasoning youll want to bring that with you. Id suggest brining food as closest HEB or groc store is 1hr 15min away. They have a nice waterhole to check out outdoor games for kids. We went end of June and was hot but had nice breeze...
