'My goodness, what an amazing property! Although distant from most major hotspots, it is smack in the middle of nature, and far away from the traffic and noise of civilization. This unique property includes an old large wine making room with equipment, the entry to the breakfast and dinner rooms. Charming and outstanding.'

'Very friendly and communicative host. We felt welcomed as well by the host Filipe, as by his dogs. The fureplace is nice and enough wood for msking fire. Close enough for some nice rides to Peneda-Geres National Parc. Thanks for having us.'

'Casa de Abbades biedt een paradijselijk verblijf aan tussen druiven, sinaasappels, mandarijnen, kiwi's en perziken. Gastvrouw Madelena zorgt met haar man Luis al zo'n veertig jaar voor haar gasten opdat deze herenboerderij kan blijven bestaan in al haar goed onderhouden glorie. Ideale ligging in de Minho. Veel beter ga je niet vinden.'

'We hebben dit huisje gebruikt om de eerste vijf etappes van de camino Portugues te lopen. We hadden een goed verblijf. Alles aanwezig in het huisje. We konden er na onze looptocht goed rusten. De dame die ons ontvang en later afscheid nam was zeer vriendelijk. Al met al een goed verblijf in Portugal. Nu naar Spanje voor de resterende voettochten naar Santiago.'

'leuk, typisch Portugees huis in een klein gehuchtje buitenterras en ook een buitenkeuken, met tuintje en zwembad heerlijk vertoeven met ons vijf (3 kinderen en wij) een mooie streek, 40min. van het groot (en hoog) beschermd natuurpark en ook van de zee (rustig, mooi) bedankt voor de warme ontvangst van onze gastvrouw! '

'Le site est magnifique avec une vue extraordinaire. Pas de communication et difficile de trouver le nom de la cabane arrivée sur place. Pas de clôture avec le chien des voisins locataires qui vient te hurler dessus. C’est dommage pour le calme recherché. Le restaurant panoramique est très bon avec de belles balades et les cascades a 1H en voiture. '

'El lugar es muy tranquilo. Tuvimos un problema y se soluciono pronto y con implicación de varias personas para su solución. Los dormitorios no tienen ventanas al exterior. Recomendable.'

'Beautiful and private garden with plenty of space. Nice swimming pool and marvelous jacuzzi. Also the hammocks in the garden give you a quiet and relaxed stay. The house is perfectly situated for visiting Braga, Guimaraes and the National Park of Peneda Gerês. The owner is very kind and answers your questions via e-mail quickly. The cabin itself is a little bit outdated without dishwashing machine and rather small and uncomfortable beds.'

'Liebevoll ausgestattetes Haus, alles was wir während des Aufenthaltes benötigten war dort. Inkl. Kerzen, Servietten etc. Die Küche hat alles ws man braucht und Geschirr ist reichlich vorhanden. Badehandtücher, Grillzubehör - auch im Garten waren wir gut versorgt. Der Pool ist super und von außen nicht einsehbar. Die Ruhe im Casa da Ita ist wundervoll.'

'Nous avons passé une très très bonne semaine dans un cadre pittoresque exceptionnel. L'habitation et le paysage sont parfait. Nous recommandons sans aucune hésitation cette location si vous voulez passer une semaine au calme dans un lieu unique.'

'Hébergement très spacieux et agréable dans un environnement calme, le propriétaire est d'une grande sympathie et soucieux du bien être de ses hôtes. Très bonne expérience pour une première au Portugal !'

"Een zeer goed hotel ,goed gelegen voor verkenning van Arcos en de streek,vriendelijk personeel en goed restaurant,ruime en veilige parking. De kamers voorzien van alle faciliteiten,badkamer iets gedateerd maar voldoet.Een aanrader!"

"We highly recommend this accommodation to anyone that's looking forward to an amazing holiday stay in beautiful Portugal. The house is situated in a quiet mountain village surrounded by nature, a national park in the area and impressive hiking routes. It's equipped with aplenty necessities at arms reach, sufficient space, a lengthy pool, gorgeous construction and facilities and has pleasant room temperature with the help of numerous airconditioning that provide warm or cold circulation. The host is just the kindest, most generous host we've ever crossed paths with. You will feel right at home at this accomodation. Moreover, you might want to consider staying permanently. Do yourself and your travel partner(s) a favour and book this accomodation, don't hesitate, you won't regret it. We hope to return soon. Many thanks José.
