'The property is beautiful. Our room was lovely—very clean and comfortable. The seating in our room was perfect for reading, and the balcony an extra treat. Allen was so gracious and helpful. The location was great for dinner plans and a short easy drive to Churchill Downs. Breakfast was delicious—especially the biscuits and gravy. 'Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were clean. Beautiful neighborhood. Close to a wonderful park with live performances of Shakespeare. A couple hitches with checking in and getting a code but otherwise very satisfactory stay.'

Did not use the tvs. Nice half mile walk to an outstanding Italian restaurant in the heart of Fourth Ave Live. Very safe area, Sheriff building close by as was Security along Market and downtown. Self-parking close to the hotel---park on the 3rd floor or higher.'

'Unique, charming hotel in a historic site. Hotel staff, waiters and bartenders were all amazing. Visited during a Bourbon Trail Tour and definitely helped make the experience. Highly recommend!!'

Great self-contained room with everything Nulu has to offer on your doorstep..1st night there was some live music going on at across the street at Taj bar which kept me awake , but apart from that little bump i cannot fault the room... they have lots more in the back further away from street so worth checking. Excellent stay and will def return if im back !!'

'This is an older property in downtown Louisville that is fully maintained. We loved the location which was centrally located for bourbon hunting. The staff is extremely kind and knowledgeable. We will definitely stay at this property again.'

'Such a lovely building, clearly loved by all who work there. Information about the property, check-in procedure, etc. was communicated very clearly before my arrival. Fresh lemon blueberry scones were there for a snack when I arrived near midnight. Wow. When booking, I didn’t think about the lack of elevator at this property. My 68 year old knees did complain a little when climbing the external & interior stairs with my luggage.'
