« This home was outstanding! The beautiful view of the mountains and the fall colors were breathtaking. The property was visited daily by a herd of 15 mule deer that grazed and bedded down for the night just yards away from the house. A badger and some bunnies were also hanging around. The home was comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. « Our stay in Fruita was a joy. We arrived to find a spacious, well-maintained, sparkling clean property with all the amenities. We were especially pleased with the well-equipped kitchen -- so well-equipped that we were able to host an impromptu dinner party for some friends who coincidentally happened to be staying in Grand Junction.Our young Lab was at first nonplussed by the xeriscape yard, but was ecstatic to learn that there were nearby plots of grass maintained by the HOA. « Comfy beds, clean rooms, easy to communicate with host. The listing should mention that this is a duplex with a shared wall with the bedroom downstairs. Enjoyed sitting out and watching the golfers. Fully stocked kitchen for cooking needs. The master bedroom is roomy and has a pleasant view. However it is a loft and one can’t darken the room. A shade is needed for the front door and a way to adjust the beautiful south facing window. »
