The Black House - stunning oceanfront property

Offering the ultimate beachfront escape, the property features five bedrooms - three with queen beds, a fourth with two single beds, and the fifth with two single beds and two full-sized trundles.

The main bathroom is well-appointed, boasting an extra-large shower with dual shower heads and double basin.
There is also a separate toilet and further separate laundry area with both washing machine and dryer.
The kitchen comes fully equipped and features a breakfast bar opening out onto the deck and stunning views beyond, while the living and dining area features two large lounges, 8 seater dining table and flat screen TV and DVD player.
Each section of the house boasts ceilings fans as well as reverse cycle air-conditioning units, each with their own temperature control for guests in separate bedrooms.

The property also features a port-a-cot, highchair and children's plastic kitchenware for the younger members of the family - an added bonus when booking your family holiday.

Without a doubt the highlight of the beachside property is the stunning views and extreme proximity to beautiful Arrawarra Bay and its protected beach, boat ramp and renowned surf break.
Taking full advantage of this is the large back deck with steps opening down onto the beach reserve, equipped with 10 seater outdoor table and webber barbecue.

Fabulous house

Location is fantastic. House could do with a good clean - under lounge cushions and window ledgers. Tractors start their day at 5am to go fishing. Overall we had a lovely stay.

Black House…What A House

From the time we entered the “Black House” we exhaled. We knew that from our journey that this was the place to be and we inhaled every morning and evening from long walks on the beach to sitting on the steps. PS..Is the Black House pet friendly?

GREAT VIEWS, 3 STAR ACCOMODATION AT BEST!

This property is listed at a premium price point with 3 star accommodation & fit-out. This property has a great view & deck, but unfortunately this is where it ends. The property was filthy & unclean with rubbish from the previous tenants still under the furniture. Whilst we were advised to bring our own linen (so glad we did), we should have been advised that the property did not include anything including hand soaps, tea towel, dish cloths, dishwasher tablets & other basics etc. Beds were old with filthy mattresses & unclean, unwashed bed covers that smelled. Several appliances did not work including air con in one room, fans, blinds were broken, fly screen doors were torn, tv scratched to pieces, Foxtel & Wi-Fi did not work, hot water was not operating & no instructions on how to get it going. A call from the property manage has still not been returned but managed to get it operating our selves after 24 hour of no hot water. Carport was covered in bird droppings & appeared to have rubber pellets through out? (perhaps previous attempts to clear them out). Although this is a nice quiet area, there are no amenities & this accommodation does not cater for this. If this property was listed as a beach shack & priced accordingly, than I'm sure you would not be left disappointed as our family was when you pay such a premium.

Wonderful position and great house. A couple of minor things - air con in one bedroom not working and I think for the price of the property it would be nice if the linen was on the beds on arrival.

A special getaway !

We had our second stay at the Black House and once again absolutely loved it. The big wide open deck looking over the beach is so special and made us feel instantly relaxed. With the close by surf and swimming beaches, rock pools and fantastic food options in Woolgoolga it is the perfect getaway for a family or anyone really. The house has all the facilities you could ask for. Be sure to check out the Arrawarra general store as well. Great coffee and food !!
