This area offers the perfect base to explore the Northern Lakes; the magnificent fells and peaks of Blencathra and Skiddaw are close by offering great walking opportunities. Visit Whinlatter Forest and follow the Gruffalo trail – it’s also a great place for mountain biking. The local area is a haven for mountaineering, rock climbing, horse riding, paragliding, and there’s a wide selection of water sports on offer including windsurfing, canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding. The Lakes Wildlife Park is only 10 miles away offering a fun day out for all the family. Even on a wet day, there’s plenty to do; visit the Aquarium at Maryport, try the indoor climbing walls at Keswick or book a spa day and chill.

Entering the property, you will walk into the contemporary, stylish kitchen with its island and breakfast bar area; this room offers a fabulous space to get together and catch up over a glass of wine.
