'When we chrcked in the lady at the counter was not very friendly and helpful. We had to pay a deposit, but my creditcard did not work. She told me 2 times that it did not work, but did not help me at all. And every time we passed her in the next days and greeted her, she didn't say anything back. Luckily the other people were friendly and helpful. The room and the bed were great. It was a pity that the windows could not be opened, I like to sleep with te windows open. '

'The hotel itself is a little dated and has that old sanitorium like feel when you are inside but the price, location, and professionalism of the staff well made up for what the place lacked in “charm”. There are wild blackberry bushes right outside the front doors and a garden growing just off the back side.
