'Although the location and views were wonderful, the home itself was disappointing. Upon entering, we did not get the cozy feeling of an Irish home. Decor was at a bare minimum, with empty shelves and bookcase. The kitchen was lacking in many necessary items that you would expect and require to prepare a meal (ie frying pan, large bowls, coffee mugs) Every morning the water ran out (completely stopped working) before all 4 of us could shower. 'I stayed at Jerry's Cottage for 2 weeks, one week with my sisters and one week solo. We all loved the cottage: the amazing vistas in all directions, and the fun of finding ourselves in the midst of a working sheep farm. Being there in lambing season was a bonus. The cottage is ideally situated to explore the incredible Dingle peninsula, and also to explore further afield (Killarney, Ring of Kerry).
