Hôtel près de Clock Tower Retail Park (Chelmsford)

« Very handy location close to where we needed to be in Chelmsford. Certainly more room that a budget hotel wih everything you need, including safe parking. »

« Upon arriving at the property, I called the host asking for details on how to access the property. He claimed to have not been able to contact me as Expedia/Hotels.com didn't provide contact details - odd how every other hotel sends me multiple messages. He then asked for ID,something I've never been asked for in any previous check-in. I'd already paid to stay and wasn't hugely impressed by the host's attitude. I did say this was a bit of a shambles which seriously triggered him into shouting...

« Les 4 étoiles sont un peu surfaites, mais c'est un hôtel à conseiller sans hésiter si vous profitez de promotions du week end... Très joli bar ! A dix minutes à pieds de la gare, du centre ville ou de l'université de Chelmsford. Un établissement avec un déco classique. Grand Parking. Repas sur place possible. Le personnel est accueillant. »

« Très bon hôtel proche centre ville. Personnel très accueillant. Je recommande ! »

« Proche gare et commerces »

« + Literie confortable. Personnel accueillant et agréable. - l'insonorisation et l'opacité. Prenez un masque et des boules quies »

« We stayed here last weekend to celebrate my mum’s 65th birthday and had such a lovely time. The hotel was beautiful, very clean and comfortable, and all the staff we met were friendly and welcoming. I had emailed beforehand to mention that we were visiting for my mum’s special birthday, so I was a little disappointed that there wasn’t a card or small acknowledgement in the room. We’d also booked a table in the restaurant for her birthday dinner, but unfortunately the booking hadn’t made it onto...

« Very nice hotel, nice room and bathroom, well decorated, staff very helpful, would be happy to come again! »

« Nice and comfortable hotel in western England where there not too many hotels. Very kind reception and services. Good food »

« No checking in service at all. No prior instructions were given. We were helped into our apartment by the lady who owns the jewellers downstairs. We were woken at 6.45am on a Sunday to the sound of scaffolders and a traffic management company setting up to commence install scaffolding at 7am on the building we are in with no prior communication from the host this would be happening otherwise I wouldn't have booked there. By 8am there was a workman outside my first floor bedroom window so I had...

« En travaux lors de mon séjour, les ascenseurs n'étaient pas utilisables. »

« Checked into Room one, nice view over quay but as soon as I lay on bed headboard collapsed, went to have shower and shower not working, was allowed to use bathroom down the hall but not ideal. No remote for TV so couldn’t use that either. Wanted to say good stay but very poor. »

« The room was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable, although the room was small, and if you ended up stuck inside, you’d quickly become claustrophobic. Likewise, the picture used to advertise the hotel is not a picture of any public or restaurant space in the hotel building, but a picture of the pub/restaurant 150 feet away. There is no public space you can hang out in within the hotel building. The price could not be beat, however. The fan for the bathroom was totally ineffective and...
