My book club stayed here for a weekend girls trip and we absolutely loved it! We went hiking to a nearby waterfall and spent the rest of our time on the porches or around the fire pit reading and listening to the water babble by. My only complaint is the list of available beds is incorrect- it says there are 5 beds but there are only 4 bedrooms and 4 beds. One room has a bunk bed with a double and a twin as well as a trundle underneath, and I believe these are being listed as 2 separate beds. The room isn't large enough for the trundle to be pulled out so you can use it anyway. It's not that big of a deal and I still gave our stay 5 stars overall, just something to be aware of if everyone wants their own bed and not to share.

The stoves temperature adjustment was high all the time you couldn’t turn it down , so it was hard to cook on. It could easy start a fire. The washing machine water was so slow it took forever to fill up and sense we had only one towel and bath clothe a peace for a whole week, that was a pain. The last thing there was nowhere to hang out clothes, no closet nothing to hang nothing on that was weird.. never seen that , especially sense we were staying a week and would of been nice to hang our hanging bag up. The out side was great and stream was beautiful too. Having no WiFi for a few days at the beginning was a little disappointing. Think there would have to be some adjustments before I would come back or refer to friends.

Great place for a getaway and some fishing if you’re into that. Relaxing and has everything needed to relax. Internet is spotty, on/off throughout the stay so beware of that if need interrupted service. Otherwise great area. Go to the Tomato House Farms! Great market to stock up on some items to cook!

The only drawback is that each level is a separate unit, and the stairs are outside. We worked around that by having all family time on the first level. It was amazing to sit out on the deck and have that first cup of coffee, and watch deer come to the creek! There is a TV in every bedroom plus both living rooms, but we never turned them on. Days were for rambling to Helen, Dahlonega, or waterfalls. Nights were for grilling, smores at the firepit, and games of Uno or Monopoly. Excellent location!

I planned our trip for my husband's 50th birthday. Our grown children showed up as a surprise to him. We had an amazing time. This is a wonderful property! It was perfect for a restful long weekend! We shopped and played in Helen and ate in Cleveland at Ol' Clydes one day/night. I highly recommend both! We watched football, grilled out, played in the stream and sat around the fire pit the rest of the time. Our dogs were able to run free since there aren't any visibly close neighbors. We had 4 vehicles and had no problem with parking at all. A few notes that did not in any way hinder our stay: Soap and shampoo were not provided as listed in the add but we had our own. We also had to buy extra toilet paper, trash bags and dishwasher tabs since we were there for several days. One of the rockers on the bottom porch doesn't rock. Overall, this is one of the best places we've stayed in the mountains and we definitely plan to come back soon.

Absolutely, loved staying here! It’s so beautiful and relaxing! I could have sat on the porch all day watching and listening to the creek! It seems like you are a million miles away from civilization. But, it isn’t too far to Helen or Dahlonega. Whether you want to sit and enjoy nature or go sightseeing, this is the perfect place. I definitely will stay here again.

Wine down the river

We had a great family vacation with a great cabin. A top and bottom area a nice split for our blended family. Kids loved playing and exploring in the river.

Beautiful Place

Enjoyed our trip. Great accommodations for 4 couples. Beds were comfy. Enjoyed time on the porches. Never found the falls on the property but did not go past private property signs. So glad to find the games when it rained. We had a blast. No hvac but the hotel type acs did wonderful in the summer heat. Easy drive to Helen. Cleveland had grocery stores and anything we needed. Highly recommend this rental.

We enjoyed our stay! I think the windows in living room needs curtains and blinds and all bedrooms need ceiling fans but I would recommend my friends to stay there and I hope to stay there again! Oh, we forgot to clean out the fridge ! I’m so sorry but we figured that out when we got home and began to unpack.

Wine Down The River

Great location, hidden, yet accessible to everything in the area. The river was refreshing and the porch was a normal location for our family. We talked, read, and prayed. We had great meals around the table and left refreshed.Thank you.

Creekside Happiness!

We really enjoyed our time at the cabin- great location for popping over to Dahlonega and Helen, while being a nice home away from home during downtime of the day. The property was beautiful this time of year! Spring was had the dogwoods blooming and trees filling in. We hope to be back!

WONDERFUL family Vacation spot!

The house was almost like a duplex, which I was not expecting. There was a 1st floor with a living room, kitchen, one bathroom and two bedrooms. The top floor was the exact same layout. It was nice, because we had two families staying in the house, so it worked out better than expected! The creek was AMAZING and the kids loved playing in the creek and climbing logs over the water. There are several acres of land to explore and play. The porches were massive and the kids spent a lot of time out there. There's a pretty sharp drop off the ground down to the creek in some spots, so I don't know that it would be great for really small children. We didn't have any luck fishing though. That was the only disappointment. But all-around, this has been one of the best places we've stayed with our family! Even after the sun went down, there were plenty of puzzles, movies, board games, and more for the kids to play. We were so sad to leave!!
