Séjour à Collingwood

Belle maison, propre et confortable. Magnifique aménagement paysager. Manquait certaines commodités, par exemple une planche et un fer à repasser (indiqués dans l'annonce). Il n'y a qu'un seul miroir, dans la salle de bain, ce qui n'est pas idéal pour un couple.

We had a wonderful stay! Very clean place and clear instructions from the owner. We were also 15 minutes away from Blue Mountain which maximized time for skiing/snowboarding. We would definitely come back again!

The house was beautiful as well as the property. There was a rather strong odor throughout the house and it was freezing cold upon arrival. I would recommend turning the heat on prior to guest arrival. The dish washer was full of dishes that needed to be washed again. Also, the lack of any cleaning sponge made it difficult to clean any pots or pans. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

Great, country feel with a wonderful porch setting to enjoy your morning coffee, evening beverage and likely rainy day. House was clean, bed comfortable, all amenities you need and close enough to downtown without the hustle n bustle.Really enjoyed our stay and John was quick in reply. We would book again.

This house was super clean and has real character due to its restored hardwood floors, beautiful wood trim, wood interior doors, and lovely wooden stair going up to the bedroom and bathroom. All the windows have lovely wooden-slatted blinds so there is lots of privacy. The place is simply and tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable and bringing our own linens was no problem. The front porch was a great place to sit and read or have coffee. Two suggestions: perhaps add another place to sit in the living area, and add a shelf or shower caddy in the shower for easier access to soap and shampoo (and so the soap dish doesn't fill with water!). The place was very quiet and private, with a line of trees blocking the road from view. We really enjoyed our stay!!

I’ve been thinking about this review for days. I’m pretty critical with reviews as a rule. It’s rare that I give full marks. Let me give you a list of everything I found to complain about:Between the occasional car driving past, and a wall that could have been a little better insulated for sound, it could have been slightly quieter. Slightly. The positives don’t fit here. There are too many. From the friendly host to the beautiful property, from the pleasant walking trail to the location convenient to Collingwood and access roads, from the fabulous garden to the comfortable furniture and complete amenities, I loved this place. I also don’t want to admit this because I’d kind of like to keep it to myself. But I think the secret is out.

Wanted to explore Collingwood and the surrounding area. This place really is charming just minutes from downtown. Living room and kitchen on the ground floor, bathroom and bedroom on the loft. Everything was immaculately clean and tidy and well stocked with anything one may need. The fully equipped kitchen lacked nothing to cook full meals there and the raised counter and the included high stools made it easy to serve and eat. We usually ate dinners out so only made breakfasts there. We did however barbecue once on the immaculate two burner bbq on the wraparound porch. The living room was comfortable and equipped with a large flat screen TV. The only thing to bring was sheets, which we actually liked doing and we brought our own pillows out of preference. The upstairs balcony was great to check the weather as soon as you got out of the very comfortable bed. The bathroom as well was equipped with everything one might need aside from toiletries. Everything felt new and very well maintained. Everything was ready for us when we arrived, the instructions were very clear, and there was never a need to interact with anyone. Everything worked as it should. Beautiful accommodations. The grounds were just as well cared for as the house itself and it was very peaceful and quiet. Would definitely come back the next time we’re in this area.

It was fantastic. Beautiful place to stay, easy to find. They were great for communicating with as well. We went with our 1 year old and he had a blast. So much outdoor space. The trail is amazing too. Lots of wildlife to experience right on the property itself. The best part for us was the cleanliness. Super clean, looked clean and felt clean. They provided all the necessities. Will be back one day we hope!

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at Bowmore Farms. We especially loved the big front porch overlooking the beautiful garden. Would highly recommend this little farmhouse to any couple looking for a romantic weekend getaway in Collingwood!

Bed was very comfortable. Everything was perfect. It was quiet. We jumped on our bikes to explore or took our paddleboards to the beach which was 5 minutes away. We will be back Our host John was awesome.

From beginning to end, John provided a smooth and seamless experience. Booking was simple, and John was quick to respond to questions. Directions were spot on, check in was straightforward. The property is beautiful and the house is gorgeous and charming. Beautiful wood floors, updated kitchen, very private, and everything you need for an incredible stay. The wrap around porch was lovely for morning coffee or an evening drink. Will definitely be back to stay on Bowmore Farms again! Thanks!

Amazing spot

My wife and I came to Collingwood to enjoy some adventures and a Day at Scandinave Spa. This place is only 10 minutes away from downtown Collingwood and 15 minutes from Blue Mountain. The accommodations were in line with the vibe we were after for this trip - relaxing, unwinding, and quiet. The sits on the front porch with a coffee - and a beer or two in the afternoon, the walk around the property were amazing and I would highly recommend the location. We are returning and will once again use this location as our home away from home. Excellent location, excellent service, excellent price.

Beautiful spot - immaculate

Beautiful place, immaculate, very comfortable bed and owner had the AC on so when we arrived the place was already very comfortable (went during heat wave) If you like to cook on vacation you may want to bring some extra kitchen utensils but otherwise basics were great. Local business which was next door was noisy at one point.

Peaceful stay, 15 mins drive from Blue Mountain Village

My spouse and I booked this as a getaway from the city kind of a trip. Loved the stay. Very cozy and very easy to locate. The place was well kept. Would be better if I didn’t have to carry my own sheets and towels but the stay was very pleasant
