Nice trullo in a beautiful area

The house is tiny but very nice, located in a beautiful natural area close to the historic town of Cisternino where you can find nice restaurants and a pleasant atmosphere. However it is not fit for a summer stay when the outside temperature can reach 40 degrees C, since there is no AC in the bedrooms. We had to purchase powerful fans to ensure some hours of sleep in those very warm conditions.

Fantastic villa and calm sorroundings

Loved the dreamy stay at this Trulli. The house had everything! Fantastic calm surroundings, more than lovely interior, great mattresses and several areas to stay at outside. Good location for trips to different cites. Really helpful tips and welcoming from Angelita on site also. Really recommend you to stay here!

Amazing trullo

Since the booking process the communication was amazing, Nina helped with all information we need about location, car rental .... Angellita did our check in , show us everything about the house , sorted our first evening meal ( the food was delicious) , she made everything easy. Restful stay in the country

The property offered us plenty of space. The outdoor areas enabled us to enjoy the sun or shelter in the shade from its heat. The villa is secluded which gave us privacy. A car is essential as there are no facilities in walking distance. We found our stay very restful.

Lovely when weather is good

We were unfortunate enough to experience several days of cold wet weather in May. The Villa, as beautiful as it is, really is designed for warm weather. There is heating in one room, but the bedrooms were very cold and the internal seating areas were not that relaxing. Ive informed the manager that adding some duvets in the property would be great incase this happens again for other guests. It's a real shame as the external facilities to the property were great. Devastated that we never got to use the pool or sit and have our diner outside. It's very secluded, surrounded by wildflower. Perfect if you want peace and quiet. The owner, and young guy that managed the property, Mattia were very nice and helpful. Would recommend this villa to others.

Super schönes Trullo - alles perfekt

Wir hatten eine super schöne Zeit in diesem Trullo. Es ist perfekt ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht und die Lage ist auch super. Die Einrichtung ist stilvoll und die Ausstattung sehr gut. Auch die Kommunikation lief super. Die Unterkunft war auf den Bildern etwas schwer zu erkennen, aber unsere Erwartungen wurden positiv übertroffen! Gerne bald wieder!! Danke :)

Sehr schöne und saubere Unterkunft zum Wohlfühlen. Geräumig / reichlich Platz.

Leider war das sichere Ferienhaus etwas schwer erreichbar (schmale Zufahrt auf Schotterweg - Auto am Busch leicht verkratzt wegen nicht geschnittener Büsche / haben wir dann selber gemacht); der ideale Ort für Ruhesuchende. WLAN wie zu erwarten schwach. Zum Strand benötigt man 30 min. Pool etwas zu klein und flach. Alles andere war aber tip top, insbesondere der neue Anbau. Gute Restaurant-Gelegenheiten im Ort. Besichtigung schöner Städte im Umkreis (Ostuni 20 min; Cisternino 10 min; Alberobello 40 min; Monopoli 60 min).

Perfect for early fall

We stayed for a week at the end of September, beginning of October and it was delightful. Angelita was very welcoming and full of recommendations and met us in town to bring us to the house (the road there is a little tricky but not unlike other villas we have rented in the Mediterranean). The house was just as nice as in the photos and fully equipped! Very private location but easy access to beautiful small towns nearby. We spent most of our time by the pool or on the terrace near the kitchen. Would 100% recommend.

Entspannter Aufenthalt im Trulli

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Apulien und Trulli Sopra hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Ich hätte mir vorab allerdings eine genauere Beschreibung des Objekts gewünscht und dass die entsprechenden Fotos den Trullis hätten zugeordnet werden können. Insgesamt war die Ausstattung sehr gut. Zu bemängeln hätte ich jedoch 2 Punkte. In der Küche gab es leider nur unansehnliche Plastik Gläser. Eine Nutzung ist aber nur am Pool sinnvoll, denn im normalen Gebrauch wünscht man sich ansehnliche Gläser. Also haben wir uns Gläser gekauft. Der Pool hat schätzungsweise lediglich eine Tiefe von ca. 1,30 oder max. 1,40.

Tolle Unterkunft in einer ebenso schönen Umgebung...

Der Trullo sowie die Anlage sind wirklich schön und liebevoll eingerichteten und gestaltet. Wir (Familie mit zwei Kindern 5&7) haben unsere Zeit hier sehr genossen. Der Trullo liegt relativ einsam und allein zwischen Olivenbäumen, hier kann man schön entspannen und relaxen. 200 m weiter findet man einen Reiterhof, hier kann auch geritten werden, was unsere Kinder sehr genossen haben. Ansonsten kommt man aber zu Fuß nicht weit. Für jede weiter Unternehmung benötigt man ein Auto. Die Lage ist Perfekt um die Umgebung zu erkunden, in 20 min ist man an den schönsten Stränden sowie in Ostuni oder Arbelobello. Die Küche ist mit allen notwendigen Gegenständen ausgestattet. Es waren sogar Basics wie Salz, Pfeffer, Öl etc. vorhanden. Die Bäder sind klein aber man kommt zurecht, da jedes Schlafzimmer ein eigenes Bad hat. Der Outdoorbereich ist ein Traum. Der gesamte Trullo ist mit Moskitonetzen ausgestattet. Ein Riesen Dank unsererseits geht an Angelita, die uns immer mit wertvollen Tips und Rat zur Seite stand!

Paradise in Puglia

This property gave us and our two children (9 & 12) everything we could have wanted for a fabulously relaxed and peaceful summer break. Every detail has been well thought through - from relaxed outdoor seating areas poolside and nearer to the house, to styling of furnishings to complement the amazing architectural heritage of this property. The grounds give privacy and a true feeling of being amidst your own surroundings. Location-wise the property definitely requires a car to be accessed, but is just a short drive from Casalini where everyday essentials can be purchased (great pizzeria too!). The larger town of Cisternino is just a 10 minute drive and serves for practicalities of larger supermarket shopping, but is a real gem of a town... its narrow streets of Centro Storico make for wonderful timeless meanders (super restaurants and gelateria too!). Stay - you won’t be disappointed!!

"Ruhige" Lage: Während unserer Aufenthaltsdauer war fast durchgehendes Hundegebell hörbar und teilweise sehr störend. Sonst haben wir sehr schöne und interessante Tage dort verbracht. Leute und Betreuung sehr nett und hilfreich.

Wonderful week in May

We had such a lovely stay at Trullo di Sopra. The house has everything you need (comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, enough closet space, etc). We also really liked the decor - very nice pillows and tableware. There is plenty of space outside to sit and chill, and enjoy the views and the smells (lavender!). Our teenagers loved to hang out on the roof :-) The house is close to a number of picturesque little towns and also just a 30 min. drive to the sea. We can recommend a day trip to Otranto and Lecce (and a stop in between at Alimini beach for a swim). Polignano a Mare is a beautiful sea side town on a high cliff with great views over the Adriatic. We liked the beach north of Il Capitolo and can recommend the Lido Sabbiadoro. Last but not least, we joined a tour Angelita (who looks after the house) gave at the local olive mill and can highly recommend that as well. We´d love to come back - thank you so much Nina and Angelita!

Excellent and peaceful Trullo

We stayed at the smaller of the two trulli, Sopra, in mid September. The property is very pretty, well equipped and it is clear the owner puts in an effort to make it so. We stayed as a couple so had loads of space but both bedrooms are ensuite which would work well for a family or two couples. Internally perhaps the most obvious thing lacking is a proper living room- there is basically a space between the two bedrooms set aside for this, beyond the very attractive kitchen/dining area, but we didn't use it as such. That said, you are much more likely to be 'living outdoors' and these spaces were excellent, a large shaded area around the pool, a really delightful shaded lounge and dining area just outside the kitchen door and a table and chairs out the front which we sometimes used for a 'sunshine breakfast'. In September it is dark by 7pm and for a few days didn't use the outside lounge/dining area in the evening but once we discovered how good the outside lighting was, including some nice and atmosheric touches illuminating some nearby trees, we found it a great option for dinner. The trullo is quite isolated, some way from the nearest village (i.e not realistic walking distance) and therefore very quiet but the price for that was quite a lengthy drive up a very bumpy, unpaved road. On balance we found that well worthwhile for the tranquility, but it does add some time to getting in and out the property. There is plenty to see and do locally; the sea is less than half an hour away, you are in trulli country so lots of nice towns nearby and even medieval Lecce is not much more than an hour away. We did some sightseeing but less than usual, because we found the trullo such a lovely place to be around during the day, relaxing, reading and cooling off in the pool. I'd recommend arranging a visit to the olive oil producer through Angelita, who looks after the property for the owner- she actually works there and gave a great insight into how virgin oilve oil is produced. The tour is free but you can buy a bottle or two at the end. Angelita is also very helpful in dealing with any minor issue you may have during your stay. You are in food country here, so no shortage of restaurants; Cortiletto in Speziale (about 20 mins drive) was especially good, very reasonably priced and suggested by the owner. Best supermarket is Famiglia in Osuni- about 20-25 mins drive but we thought worth it for the choice and quality. All in all a very relaxing stay.

Traumhaft!

Wir haben mit unserer Kleinfamilie 3 wundervolle Wochen im Trullo di Sopra verbracht! Die Gegend ist klasse, es gibt unheimlich viel zu entdecken, wir haben immer hervorragend gespeist und konnten uns dennoch prima erholen. Das Trullo hat die perfekte Lage, ruhig gelegen und doch nicht mitten in der Pampa. Es ist wunderschön renoviert und top ausgestattet. Nina und Angelita waren immer eine große Hilfe und sind super nett und immer hilfsbereit. Fazit: Out of the ordinary und ein echter Geheimtip!

Trullo di Sopra - ein Paradies zwischen Lavendel und Olivenbäumen

Wir sind 4 Erwachsene und haben das Trullo di Sopra gemietet und verbrachten eine fantastische Woche anfangs Juni 2017 in dieser wunderschönen Umgebung etwa 5 Autominuten ausserhalb Casalini (zwischen Cisternino und Ostuni). Das Trullo hat unsere Erwartungen mehr als erfüllt und wir waren begeistert von der sehr stil- und geschmackvollen Innen- und Ausseneinrichtung. Die beiden Schlafzimmer mit Bad sowie die Küche waren in einem einwandfreien und sehr sauberen Zustand. Die Küche war zweckmässig eingerichtet und mit 2 Kühlschränken bot sie reichlich Platz für Esswaren und Getränke. Der Aussenbereich mit Grillstelle, gedeckter Lounge beim Pool sowie gedeckter Terrasse mit einer 2. Lounge sowie Tisch/Stühle lud zum verweilen ein und bot genügend Platz für uns alle. Die Schlüsselübergabe und auch das Check-Out mit Angelita hat bestens und unkompliziert geklappt. Es hatte 4 Sonnenliegen welche ebenfalls in einem tadellosen Zustand zur Verfügung standen. Einzig das Internet funktionierte nicht immer und überall gleich gut und der Telefonempfang war ziemlich schlecht, doch wir wurden beim Vertrag darauf hingewiesen und konnten uns entsprechend einstellen. Dieses Trullo ist wirklich zu empfehlen wenn man die Natur liebt, ein Auto zur Verfügung hat und es liebt, etwas abseits zu wohnen, denn zu Fuss kann man zwar sehr schöne Spaziergänge unternehmen, aber z.B. kurz was in Casalini einkaufen, ist dann doch zu weit weg. Restaurants und einen grösseren Spar-Einkaufsmarkt findet man in Cisternino. Diese Stadt ist auf jedenfall ein Besuch wert. Tolle Restaurants, Bars und eine schöne Altstadt. Wer nebst dem Pool im Trullo auch mal ans Meer will, dem empfehlen wir z.B. den White Beach Club in Torre Canne, etwa 25 Autominuten entfernt. Schöner Beach Club - nicht ganz billig - denn grosse Sonnenliege (für 2 Personen) und Schirm kosten 30 EUR/Tag aber sehr gemütliches Ambiente, coole Musik, freundliches Personal und das Restaurant serviert köstliches Essen und gute Drinks. Ist aber weniger für Kinder geeignet, da man nur über einen Steg ins Meer gelangt (steiniger Strand). Es hat jedoch viele weitere öffentliche wie private Strände in Savelletri oder Capitolo. Wir können das Trullo ohne Bedenken weiterempfehlen und würden diese Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen, denn auch die Buchung klappte bestens und Nina antwortete stets innerhalb kurzer Zeit und hat uns mit vielen guten Tipps beraten! Ein gelungener Abschluss unserer Italienreise :-)
