This is in someone's back yard. No literally in these people's back yard. In a neighborhood with tons of other houses right next to you. We didn't list our son bc we were expecting him to be staying somewhere else. Something came up and he was with us. The woman freaked out that he was there and wanted 40 extra per night for our son. Next I had my service animal -disabled veteran with severe PTSD and epilepsy. My dog is trained to alert someone if I have a seizure. The woman freaked out about my service dog and wanted 100 more. I explained that it was a service animal and would be with me 24hours and why. Nope no good. To be honest I am glad we didn't stay and just left. It comes across as a swinger compound and they are using it to try and find other singles to mess around with. I have never seen someone so mad about a child. In addition - vrbo advertises specifically having a private rental. Not having a host constantly there. Again - it is there backyard. You park in their driveway. They wanted to give a full tour of the backyard and the inside of the 'cabin' it's a refurbished shed. No privacy. I started having a panic attack because the woman cornered me in the bathroom to 'confront' me about my child and service dog. Book at your own risk. We were not offered any type of refund after I said all of this to them.
