'Room was clean and functional. Bar area was small but ok as wasn’t too busy. Too many emails and texts for check in and door code wasn’t received so still had to wait at reception to get that. We were going to use the pool but at £12 per person it was not worth it - there should at least be a concession rate for hotel guests. A functional stay but couldn’t consider it a good one. '

'The ceiling was leaking liquid down the bathroom wall. The room was not set up for 2 people.
There should be a shelf in the shower to hold shampoo, wash gel, etc.
Could not figure out how to turn on towel warmer.
Upside is the you g lady at the reception desk was very responsive.

'The hotel was good and clean with the rooms being of a good standard. One or two things could be better. The evacuation details on the back of the door was quite high up and small. 'The Holiday Inn is a nice hotel close to the city center. The rooms are nice and clean. We had a room on the ground floor close to the smoking area outside. This was a bit noisy until 2 am. After we closed the window it was ok again.'
