I arrived to my stay at JW Marriott in Chongqing, where I paid $761.72 for a room, that included an extra guest fee of $215.80 since it required me to pay that for a room with 3 guests.
When I arrived to the hotel, our room only had two twin beds, which had no room to fit the 3 of us.
I already shared this complaint with the hotel, who did nothing to accomodate us in this situation. They said that I am able to receive a refund, but it has to be through Expedia since I booked with you guys.
They also said that there is no extra charge for having 3 guests, and they did nothing to accomodate for the extra guest even though I was charged for it.
Because of this, my family member ended up sleeping on the floor of the hotel room for 4 days and neither the hotel nor Expedia has offered me any compensation or solution.
The staff member Cora was extremely unhelpful and showed no sympathy or care for my situation. I was basically scammed by this hotel and she did nothing to help resolve the situation. They need to work on better hospitality skills, especially in a 5 star establishment.
