'The property is in a quiet rural spot, convenient for Birmingham, Solihull, Redditch, the M42, etc. I am not aware of any public transport links to the hotel, though, other than taxi. Rooms are to a good standard, although some aspects of the bathrooms could be freshened up (e.g. shower grouting). The restaurant and bar offer a limited menu, but with healthier and more ‘home cooked’ options than chain “lodge” and “inn” alternatives nearby. Overall, very good value'

'Lovely place, unstaffed but easy access. Only issue was it was very hot even with a fan on a day that was 20 degrees C outside, so would be unbearable in the height of summer. Fan was in the room, but didn’t do much. Open windows wouldn’t have helped due to road noise. '

'This is a beautiful property within easy reach of Stratford upon Avon. Our room had a stunning view, was beautifully furnished with a super comfy bed and included a fridge with water and milk, and tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was spotlessly clean with a huge modern shower and large fluffy towels. There were plenty of choices for breakfast and it was all cooked perfectly. "Kamerdeur sluit niet, met een duwtje gaat ze vanzelf open, zelfs als ze ‘op slot’ is. Een lamp werkte niet, geen handzeep,…alles lijkt nogal afgemeten. We konden niet in de kamer vòor het normale incheckuur, nochtans was het hotel quasi leeg. Mooi gebouw, maar spijtig van de smakeloze architecturale ingrepen, gecombineerd met goedkoop nieuw meubilair (ontbijtruimte). Voor een prikje kan je tegenwoordig authentiek Engels meubilair vinden, dat perfect in een dergelijk mooi gebouw zou passen en veel warmer zou over komen. "
