'You get what you pay for.
The positives-right in the heart of Old Town, nice rooftop view, clearly an older building with lots of history, breakfast included, the price can’t be beat
The negatives-I had a lot of luggage (just returned from dive trip in Galapagos), and had to haul it up 3 flights of stairs and it was a maze to get to, the shower did not drain and there were a few bugs in it, the bed was very hard
All in all, I can’t complain because it was very cheap. But I should know better as...

'The hotel from outside was simple but once you go inside the doors I was impressed how well maintained and clean it was. The rooms are large and immaculately clean. The area has everything you need to walk to , restaurants, cafes, sites. I felt very safe staying here. They open the front door and lock them when you need to leave. Very friendly staff. They even made us breakfast to go and coffee for our early morning flight.'

'WiFi was decent but did break up sometimes. Friendly staff but often didn’t have information such as once I asked about laundry and the staff wasn’t sure and didn’t try to help and find out. It’s a budget hostel, good value for the money in the city historic center. You can walk alone at night u til about 830-9pm. Uber is plentiful. Decent traditional restaurants around within walking distance. Hostel is quiet except for the construction - so be mindful if you take naps or sleep in behind 8am....

'Hoewel een kort verblijf van 2 nachten, een prima tijd gehad in het in historische centrum zeer centraal gelegen hotel.
Ook van het straatverkeer geen last, mede omdat de straat relatief smal is.
Bijzonder was dat die Zondag verplicht binnenblijven was vanwege de census( volkstelling) Uitsluitend militairen en politie op straat.
Echter met het fijne hotel en de goede maaltijden was het niet echt rampzalig.
Ook was het bijzonder dat het hele land vanaf vrijdagmiddag tot maandagmiddag drooggelegd...

There is no one around on the streets in the late afternoon when it’s still light out but because of the lack of people, it is my opinion, that increases your risk of walking in the neighborhood to eat dinner or go to the minimart.
