He contacted me before my arrival to make sure I had all the Infos I needed and he had lots of helpful tips of where to eat and what to do in the area. The room was clean an comfortable and the location of the hostel was very convenient (close to metro and restaurants) and felt save. I would definitely stay there again.'

'Hostal Rio Amazonas is in een leuk oud koloniaal gebouw met charme. Het heeft een gezellige , kleine patio waar je kunt ontbijten etc. De staf is heel aardig en behulpzaam. De ligging is handig om de stad te verkennen. Het ligt aan een drukke weg met dag en nacht veel voorbijrazend verkeer. Er zijn gelukkig wel dubbele ramen waardoor je weinig last hebt van het verkeerslawaai of vraag om een kamer, die niet aan de straat ligt. Verwacht alleen geen moderne luxe, ook gaan airco's.
