Our first room had a blood stained mattress, we were given a second room that had not been cleaned, was dusty, bathroom had pubic hair all over toilet and seat. The THIRD room we were given had a toilet that leaked, stained bedsheets and stained pillows. Breakfast selection was poor and looked stale. Cleaner used in hallway was so strong we experienced breathing issues.
There were no safety handles in shower/tub. Very dangerous. The corners in bathroom had dirt and hair. The bathroom door was dirty. Very limited amenities. Hallways were funky/dirty, should have been my first red flag. La quinta is a reputable hotel. I trusted that, never trust big names, doesn't mean itll be good. I'd like a refund.
This La Quinta is on the outskirts of town and along a street with multiple hotels. There is an excellent Mexican Restaurant immediately next door. The hotel is large and there appeared to be only one elevator serving both guests and hotel staff, which meant a couple of awkward moments when the elevator was occupied by hotel staff going about their duties, resulting in having to wait for them to disembark and for the elevator to return. In the morning, hotel staff were cleaning on the first floor and didn't seem to make much effort to move their large baskets and carts out of the way for guests exiting with suitcases (such as myself) to maneuver easily around them. The complimentary breakfast was average, though seating seemed quite limited given the overall size of the hotel and potential number of guests wanting to use the space.
The room was ok for sleeping, but the building and "atmosphere" was dreary. Sorry if I'm boogie, but I work hard for my money and expect great things in life. I would not pick this place again. Location is conveniently along the interstate but everything just had a dirty feel.
I usually like LaQuinta. Not this one. The hallway/main area carpets were absolutely filthy. The room carpet was better, but the room smelled of urine. I would never stay here again.
There were so many reasons we were displeased: the room smelled like smoke, the floor was sticky, the sink didnât drain, the breakfast was so poor and was out of many things. Our bedding had a pink stain on it (donât even want to think of what left that stain.) The property was located off the interstate so it was very convenient, but it was located next to a boarded up property and seemed very sketchy. It was the worst night sleep I have ever had. I would not recommend this hotel to stay in.
It was a good stay. The dining area was very small & compacted which made it difficult to benefit from their breakfast due to too many people & no seating. In addition, Staff was rushing to replenish coffee, food, plates as well.
We loved this hotel!! The staff (Amy and Kim) was SO pleasant and the room was wonderful!! It was comfortable, and big. The TV and cable selection was wonderful. And then the food in the lobby was wonderful as well. Glad ithe food was part of the stay!! And the cost thru Expedia, made it very reasonable! Will stay there again, for sure when we go back to Cheyenne!!
