Girlfriends trip

The house was perfect for girlfriends getaway. We each had our own bedroom and 3 full bathrooms. The house was clean and well equipped. Check-in and checkout processes were easy. A great location that was close to Blue Ridge with hiking, shopping and excellent restaurants. We would definitely choose the site again.

What should have been a peaceful five star getaway quickly turned into a two star experience. The fridge and freezer didn’t work, causing all of our groceries to spoil. Despite reporting this immediately, we were told to contact a repair company ourselves something no guest should have to deal with on vacation. The outdoor trash bin was full when we arrived, and the lid didn’t lock, which led to animals scattering garbage overnight. We contacted the host multiple times, but only received generic, unhelpful replies. The kitchen sink was also clogged, and we found a used drain snake left behind; unsanitary and unpleasant. While the cabin itself is beautiful, the lack of maintenance and support was unacceptable. Very disappointing.

Mountain View Retreat lives up to name

A great place to relax and enjoy the view, likely any time of the year but especially in early May. Relatively new property was clean and comfortable. Hope to return in the Fall or next Spring.

Perfect Place

What a beautifula place, the house and the area. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Everyone love that every bedroom had a king bed and that there were 3 full bathrooms, it made getting ready easy.The back patio was where we spent most of our time. It was really comfortable ans the view is amazing. We can't wait to come back and see more of the area.

100% as advertised. Lots of room and big downstairs bonus area as well.The only thing is there seems to be a lady bug infestation in the wall on left side of house. Left bedroom as you enter.They are really more of nuisance as they don’t bite or get into everything.Can be easily resolved by a pest control visit.

Wonderful cabin and location

Wonderful experience for Christmas week. Beautiful clean cabin near stores and restaurants. Plenty of room for 6 adults, TVs in all rooms. Ping Pong table was a hit. Would recommend bringing your own BBQ grill tools as there were only tongs. Gas fire place was awesome to have. Great place to rent, will book again in the future.

Great house

This house was clean, beautiful, and well designed. We especially liked the porch/deck off the main level. I highly recommend it for family or friends. The downstairs with the ping pong table and tv would be a great hangout for kids/teens, but it could use some better furniture.

Great Weekend with Friends

Very clean well kept property in a quiet area with a surpassingly good view. Bedrooms were nice, kitchen was more than enough, and the ping pong table was a lot of fun. Bring chairs if you want to use the fire pit and not sit on a rock. A great time and we plan to be back!

Everything was as imagined. Very clean,Comfortable & Quiet. There was 2 hickupshicups..1 the internet had a alot of buffering and the stove, once putting temperature to 300 + it was unreadable but worked. Tried to text manager on findings but no response (reception not great).We left at 8am even though we would have love to stay. We were sad to leave.Overall excellent for an adult getaway bthat i tried

Beautiful cabin in the mountains

We truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back this spring. No complaints at all except we did find the downstairs area to be much colder. My only feedback would be to add an additional heater during cooler months. Other than that it was a perfect stay.
