'The room was spacious but the arrangement was not optimal. There was way too little surface area and all bigger items had to be placed on the floor. The reception is only open specific hours. You can access with a code at the entrance. The location was quite central and calm at the same time. The room/bathroom had no proper ventilation from what we could tell and the smell in the room was not pleasant. The room had very bad wifi signal. 'This is a basic, budget hotel. It does exactly what is expected. The room was a good size. The beds were confortable and the bathroom perfectly functionable. It was a bit further out of town than expected, but walkable from the ferry terminaland bus station. There is a bus that goes straughts past tue door, but we made use of the hire scooters.'

'Hotel 67 is really a block of about 30 rooms within the Gleneagle hotel. The brutalist/minimalist decor of the room (exposed concrete and wire conduits etc) may not be for everybody, and is not aging well. Our window (overlooking a roof with noise AC units) was broken an difficult to close. That being said, the bars and restaurants and other facilities of the Gleneagle hotel are great, and the room was very comfortable. Having a boxed breakfast delivered to the room may be an unusual choice, but...
