Beautiful home

Reviewer Comments: Had a wonderful time staying at Skylake Cottage. The house was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Our kids loved the bunk room with the television and all kinds of game systems. The kitchen had everything we needed and I really appreciated the Keurig coffee maker could make one cup or a whole pot. My favorite spot was the outdoor fireplace with heaters. Even on a cold day we could sit outside and enjoy the views.

Lovely home

Skylake Cottage was a lovely home with an accommodating floor plan for our three family gathering. Wonderfully appointed, with seating spaces indoors and out, comfortable beds, and a terrific bunk room for the kiddos to share. There is a playground directly across the street, a hot tub in the back, and the wonderful community pool just behind the house across the other street. The kitchen had everything we needed. Bonus treat the Vin du lac winery is a 3 minute walk and has a full menu. We stayed only two nights. I could not give 5 stars for cleanliness because stained sheets should never be used. We arrived very late in the evening after a long day of adventures and found out the next morning that we had gone to bed in the master suite with stained bedsheets. I did report this concern upon check out the next day to hopefully prevent another guest from having this happen.

Spacious main floor with lots of room for all guests. Very clean, no pet smell even though this was one that allowed pers.

Reviewer Comments: Aircon doesn't cool upper floor, ended having temporary air conditioning units in rooms to mitigate, which we re noisy. Dishwasher was out of Service. It is a nice house but not the experience we expected or paid for.

I would definitely bring my family back again. The water access could be improved. The rocks were extremely slippery in the cove and we had a couple falls and cuts. We enjoyed their variety of board games and even watched a movie together as a family while there. We had a nice breakfast at Blueberry Hill Farms one morning, and spent one of our days in Leavenworth, Washington which is a very charming and fun place to visit. We will definitely visit again!

Skylake delivered on absolutely everything -- beautiful furnishings, stocked kitchen, lovely outdoor firepit/hot tub and grill, and comfy beds. We were set. Loved Vin du Lac winery down the street for food and wine tasting. When we were there the construction was a bit of a bummer but we were prep'd for that. The wifi is perfect for WFH and the wireless speaker was great as we forgot ours. Also really liked little touches like great wine glasses and fun books to peruse. All in all a 5-star experience!!
