'Beautifully designed and maintained retro hotel with easy parking'

'The hotel put out a good breakfast. They are renovating the hotel and thus the elevator floor wasn't the best but the lobby was bright and welcoming and the room while older was clean.temperatures were in single digits when we stayed so we didn't use the AC but the heating worked and kept the room comfortable. And also important given the temperature shower water was hot for all of us. '

The breakfast is a highlight - great coffee, amazing, freshly made food and a great combination of fresh flavours. Margo and Keith are great local hosts, who treat you like family. You arrive as strangers and leave like great friends. '

'I left a specific item—a Figs scrub top—in the closet of my room. After failing to reach the hotel by phone, I diverted my route by 30 minutes to inquire in person. Despite my certainty regarding the item's location, the front desk staff refused to physically check the lost and found storage, citing only that it "wasn't in the system."
