We voelden ons thuis en zeer welkom.
Geweldige ervaring. Prachtig landgoed met leuke zitjes en jeux de boules baan.Heel lekker ontbijt met super croissants en chocolade broodjes vers van de bakker. Zeer vriendelijke gastheer.

A very happy surprise in the Charentes region
On our way back to the UK from the Landes region, we had decided to make a detour to visit the Gallo-Roman Thermal Baths of Cassinomagus (a definite must-see for anyone passing in the region), and we picked the Domaine de la Grange de Quaire as our overnight stopover a few minutes away. If our next stop had not already been booked we would happily have spent several days here as the property is beautiful and its location stunning. Our spacious room was on the first floor and nicely decorated, with guests given free run of the large downstairs living + dining room area (the owner occupies a separate wing of the property). Wifi signal is reasonable given the remoteness. The house is in the middle of a large park and has a big terrace at the back of it, again freely accessible. The owner made us feel extremely welcome and was happy to provide dining recommendations when asked and we enjoyed a very nice dinner less than 10 minutes away. In the morning he prepared a hearty (and fresh) breakfast (to be had in the dining room or on the terrace) which set us up nicely for the drive ahead. Definitely one of the nicest B&Bs we have stayed in in France, and one we will happily revisit for longer on a future trip.

Fantastique
J’ai passé un excellent séjour en compagnie des propriétaires du château. Le lieu est absolument magnifique, authentique et parfaitement entretenu. On m’a très bien accueilli, et, a different moment, l’ensemble des personnes présentes ont été aux petits soins avec moi. Ils ont également fait preuve de beaucoup de flexibilité. Je vous recommande ce lieu, j’y retournerai de bon cœur pour ma part.

Magnifique domaine
Quel bonheur et belle surprise de découvrir cette bâtisse du 16ème siècle. L'accueil du propriétaire est excellent et aimable. Notre chambre familiale est très grande et très propre. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir.

Dans un charmant manoir familial emplis de souvenirs des 4 coins du monde nous avons bénéficié d un accueil chaleureux et bienveillant réellement à l écoute du client. Nous étions en famille les chambres étaient parfaites , le petit déjeuner royal . Je recommande cet établissement pour qui souhaite un séjour au calme , dans un lieu atypique où les maîtres mots semblent être bienveillance , partagé et respect .

A family friendly picture perfect French chateau.
This property was a real treat. A chateau tucked at the end of a lane that has parts dating back to Roman period of 165 A.D. The owners were very welcoming and happy to answer all the questions of an inquisitive 11 year old. These included detailed discussions on a grandparent whose WW1 helmet sits on a shelf. We were very happy to have been given a two roomed accommodation this allowed a peaceful rest and sleep. We had ample space in our rooms and we had the Blue room and the Study downstairs to use as well. The breakfast was plentiful and filling. The parking was safe and secure. The wifi was free to use. The views were stunning and not another property can be seen from any angle.

fabulous chateaux type stay.. very friendly and very peaceful. Amazing continental breakfast ! we just had a quick one night stay as a half way stop so didnt see much of local area but theres a reasonable local village brasserie short walk away..

Your personal chateau
Bliss! Lovely working farm based around a handsome house. We parked at the front door, were warmly welcomed, had use of most of the living rea of the hose as well as our room. The place is comfortable is a delightfully run-down way. We were made to feel like house guests for the night. A great base if you are in the area.
