'The rooms are rather old and in need of a refurb: blinds on window (in two separate rooms) did not work, and in both rooms the safe was broken. I had to ask on three separate occasions to have house keeping clean the room and replace towels etc. House keeping eventually cleaned my room on the 4th day, despite the first request on day 2. This is not a low cost hotel, and I expected better. I would not stay here again'

'Nice new hotel. Rooms were quiet and clean. Charles and the bar were what differentiated the hotel. Breakfasts were basic and self-serve, with single use plastic which is disappointing. Really unnecessary to charge extra for the parking - cheap trick. We ended up parking just outside to avoid the extra ($35 pd?) expense.'

'Very dissatisfied with this particular Springhill visit. We weren’t informed the hotel only provides room cleaning and fresh towels every other day. After asking a few times they did deliver fresh towels but were pretty stingy with the number allowed. Fitted sheet was long past its useful life and wouldn’t stay put. Air conditioner was noisy and thermostat setting seemed irrelevant. Vanity needs repairs to faucet and light. When attempting to iron a white dress shirt the iron left black...

'Cons: -housekeeping service: front desk and housekeeping didn’t communicate w/ each other. Or, staff simply didn’t want to “refresh” our rooms during a five night stay. - A/C, it was 90* out & the AC in the room was not consistent. There was no option to keep it “on” vs auto. - parking: $5 a day Pros: - location, was great for us since we were there for the naval academy - manager & some staff, I wish I got the name of the manager. Lady with an accent like Selma Hayek had great customer...

'We did eat breakfast but the day of check in we enjoyed lunch, very good! We stayed in The Barn, the room was very clean and beautiful. Our only problem we found was the mattress was way too soft. My husband and I both agree they need a new mattress. Everything else was excellent ‼️'
