'The staff was wonderful and good to bounce ideas off of. I was comfortable here and the places is easily walkable to beaches on each side of the city along with plenty of bars and restaurants. I enjoyed Punta del Este more than Montevideo despite being a bit of a history guy and generally liking capital cities. Also, Jose Ignacio is a short trip up the coast and it's absolutely beautiful there.'

'The hotel is an oasis with understated elegance, comfort and surroundings. The decor is subtle and tasteful, breakfast room and service outstanding. The staff extend themselves to be helpful and welcoming. We spent an entire day on the grounds lounging and reading.'

'We were waking up at 7:30 am with a terrible noise coming from the AC, they took like an hour to come to the room and stayed in our room fixing the problem like 1 1/2 hrs. We got into the room at 5:00 am and we were trying to have a good rest that we couldn’t because the annoying noise. We complained with front desk and nothing was done. '

'No security lock on the balcony door. Hotel staff claimed that none of the balconies were lockable as the neighbourhood was very safe? The breakfast was good and staff very friendly and answered all our questions. The king room is quite small , especially the minute bathroom and there is little room for luggage in the room. Location is everything with a great beach one block away from the hotel and beach chairs and umbrellas provided. Recommended, if you pack very light and are not travelling...

'Ongelooflijk servicegericht hotel op perfecte locatie! Kregen handdoeken, stoeltjes en een parasol mee voor het strand, echt top! Ook late check-out (3 uur later dan eigenlijk gebruikelijk was) was geen enkel probleem. Erg vriendelijk!'
