Good to explore the region of Belem, less suited for the historical region (little public transportation options close by, good for your daily steps). There are some cool restaurants nearby. The breakfast is elaborate with healthy and less healthy options and the staff is friendly. There is always free water (plain or pimped) available at the lobby which is a nice plus. If you have a choice ask for a room on the top...

'Bed was so comfy and the hotel was so incredible that we contemplated changing our flights home to stay longer at the Felix 10! From the first moment arriving at the hotel, there was the most incredible cinnamon/clove scent that was warm & inviting and the decor was cool & sophisticated. The staff were very helpful showing us the entire hotel and offered us coffee & water when we first arrived.
