'Better than a hotel. The manager was reachable for questions, like when we couldn’t get the door unlocked. It's a nondescript building with three units. The building looks sketchy from the outside, but it was lovely inside. It was homey. Had a coffee maker with coffee, tea, cream, sugar. There were pots, pans, silverware, dishes, everything you need to cook, which we did. Full size refrigerator. It has wide couch that could double as a bed. If two people are using the bed, one has to crawl over...

'The apartment was very clean and well organized. It met all my needs. I appreciated being so close to the university and had access to great restaurants and other shopping. I appreciated the quick response from our host as she accommodated our specific needs. It was a wonderful location and having our own parking spot was a great convenience. '

My husband had to leave a day before the three kids and I so we stayed somewhere else for our last night. There were numerous in-housed people on the streets, gunshots in the stop sign etc. In addition, there were not enough pillows for our family, and no laundry detergent. '
