'Our stay at Our Valley View B&B was way more than we had hoped for, both for the comfort of our room to the hospitality of the hosts. The sweet couple running the place were incredibly kind and provided amazing insight on local places to visit and how to best go about exploring the nearby cities. 'The rooms were clean and there were bathroom amenities. The free breakfast was very good. I was concerned that there was no water in the rooms for the coffee machine aside from getting a cup of water from the bathroom. I called down to the front desk inquiring about this as I thought for how much I paid for a room there should at least be water supplied for the coffee maker. The customer service rep from the front desk, apparently felt bad for me and brought me up a free plastic bottle of water....

'Great well lit parking and nice desk staff. Bathroom floor has a build up of dirt in corners especially beside toilet. Carpets are worn dark grey prompting us to search for bed bugs but found none on the old mattresses. Blankets have cigarette burn holes. Bedding and towels seemed clean. '

'Due to fluctuations in outside temperature, the hotel AC had not yet been activated. The room was uncomfortably hot (26C). I believe it is prudent for the hotel to notify customers in advance of this prior to locking in the reservation. Had I known, I would have made alternative reservations. I got a fan and an apology from the hotel either of which was satisfactory. Disappointed.'
