Luxury Villa with Large Pool and Stunning Ocean View in Carvoeiro Region

Casa del Rei stands on a small hill in the middle of a 3000sq meter plot, its garden planted with typical flora of Algarve, palm and fruit trees, cacti and shrubs. It enjoys superb panoramic views down to the sea at Benagil. For those who prefer walking, why not take a stroll down to the picturesque fishing village of Benagil with its small sandy cove and spoil yourself with excellent fish restaurants, all about 20 mins away. Water parks, horse riding, golf (Milho, Pinta and Gramacho about 10 mins drive away), sailing and other water sports are all within easy reach. Praia da Rocha and Albufeira offer an exciting night life experience with several restaurants, discos, bars and casino.This villa is built on 3 levels. The large Master bedroom has a private terrace. The living room extends out to a main terrace overlooking the pool and BBQ area giving you picturesque and unspoilt views down to the sea and surrounding area, which is ideal for dining outside and enjoying the warm evenings. The property has a large non-heated pool with a depth ranging from 1 to 2.5 meters.

Fabulous trip to our favourite villa!

This is our second stay at Casa Del Rey, 2 years has passed and we still love it! The outside area make the villa so amazing and family friendly, party for little ones. Toilet & bar outside and plants of space for everyone. If we could come again on our next trip to Portugal - we would! Perfect area, very safe and close to beautiful beaches.

Lovely Villa with a beautiful deep pool. Owner was very helpful and let us stay longer on departure as we had a late flight which was very helpful and much appreciated.Plenty of equipment and space. Sunbeds were great. Also supermarkets 7 mins down the road in Lagoa and another 7 mins to the coast so ideally placed in the Algarve. We loved it!

Awesome Location & Home!

We stayed here for 2 weeks and it was nothing short of excellent. There were 5 of us and there was ample space, amenities, and things to do. The area was very quiet and private and just short drives away to other locations and shops. I would highly recommend staying here if you’re planning a trip to the algarve!

Wir haben es genossen

Wir waren zu sechst für eine Woche in der Villa und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Alles war im Haus vorhanden, es ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Umgebung ist ruhig und man ist für sich alleine und kann in der schönen Garten- und Poolanlage entspannen. Zu Fuß ca. 30 Min. zum nächsten Strand. Man kann nach Ost und West tolle Ausflüge machen in absehbarer Entfernung. Wir würden wieder kommen. :)

Beautiful villa with stunning pool

Absolutely loved this place. Very big, well equipped and beautifully furnished. Other reviews mention its dated but we thought this added to its charms. Could imagine Ernest Hemmingway typing, sat in raftan chair on the upper terrace. Has an old world charm which we adored. The pool and pool area was great. A downstairs bar was very handy too. Kitchen equipped with everything you need. Communication with owner very good, and spoke to the local caretaker and housekeeper who visited once to ensure we had everything needed. Cant fault anything and would definitely stay again.

We stayed at Casa d'el Rei for the week of June 15-22nd and were very pleased with our choice. The villa was great and met our needs in every way. We loved the location with easy access to the beach, shopping and nearby sites. All and all a great week and I gladly recommend to all.

Wonder villa for a family holiday

There were four adults and one 20 month toddler in our party. This villa is beautiful and the view from the top balcony is stunning anytime of the day. The middle balcony was perfect for dinner, coffee, wine any kind of chilling, again with a special view. The bedrooms are perfect size, in fact the main bedroom is very big and it has a very warm feeling. We personally found the beds a little hard, but we soon got used to them. The pool was great because the weather for all but one day was sunny, and warm making the little pool perfect for our grandson. One thing needed is stair gates as there are a lot of steps in this villa everywhere with lots of escape routes for toddlers. We used spare chairs and furniture, but it was not easy as our grandson is extremely active. The cleaner came Wednesday and the pool man twice, both lovely people with lots of advice on the best places to visit. A car is a must, we used ours everyday. We hope to return one day to this very special place. Thank you for opening your villa to our family.

Alojamiento muy completo y bien ubicado

Pros: Aunque cuando llegamos nos pareció más antigua que lo que mostraban las fotos, al final disfrutamos del alojamiento.Tiene de todo lo necesario. Tiene un montón de menaje y todo tipo de pequeños electrodomésticos. En la zona de la piscina hay nevera propia, y un congelador enorme en la lavandería. Juegos para niños en la sala, y disfrutan mucho con la pequeña piscina superior. Contras: Piscina grande muy profunda en más de la mitad de superficie. La cama doble de la habitación de abajo tiene un colchón algo incómodo, pero las otras dos están bien. Iluminacion escasa en la zona del comedor y zona de barbacoa.

Wunderbarer Urlaub in Carvoeiro

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche in sehr schöner Unterkunft mit tollem Pool und sehr schöner Umgebung. Das Haus ist mit allem Ausgestattet was man braucht. Die Inneneinrichtung ist zwar schon in die Jahre gekommen, aber alles sehr sauber. Das Bad bei den unteren Zimmern könnte mal renoviert werden (Dusche in Badewanne) aber das ist der einzige Kritikpunkt. Wir haben uns sehr gut erholt und würden das Haus wieder buchen.

Traumhaft schön

Casa del Rey ist eine wunderschöne, großzügige Ferienvilla mit einem großen mediterranen Garten und einem fantastischen Poolbereich in ruhiger Lage. Wir haben uns sofort wohl und zu Hause gefühlt. Trotz der Größe der Villa ist alles sehr sauber und gepflegt und es gibt nichts was es nicht gibt. Besonders die Küche ist sehr reichhaltig und mit allem, was man auch nur im Entferntesten benötigen könnte, ausgestattet. Wie bereits in anderen Kommentaren erwähnt, hat der Masterbedroom keine Tür. Dies empfanden wir jedoch nicht als störend, da das Bett auf der anderen Seite des Treppenaufgangs steht. Das Badezimmer am Masterbedroom ist sehr groß, genau wie die Dachterrasse, die einen herrlichen Blick auf die Umgebung, das Meer und abends auf den Sonnenuntergang bietet. Hervorzuheben ist der außergewöhnliche Poolbereich der Casa del Rey. Schon allein die Form und die doppelstöckige Anordnung sind besonders. Die Kaskade lässt sich per Knopfdruck beliebig oft starten und es macht einfach nur Spaß in dem großen und tiefen Pool zu schwimmen, zu toben oder die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Auch den angrenzenden Grillbereich haben wir mehrmals genutzt (kleiner Tipp: im 7 min entfernten Intermarché gibt es leckeren, frischen Fisch). Die Villa liegt nur wenige Fahrminuten von verschiedenen, tollen Stränden entfernt. Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt in der Casa del Rey einfach nur traumhaft schön und die Woche leider viel zu schnell vorbei.

La villa de Madalena est tout simplement magnifique. Vraiment le top du top. Je pense que c'est la meilleure location dans laquelle j'ai séjourné. La communication était également très bonne.

Fantastic villa and idilic location

This villa had everything we needed and more! The Villa design and decor is amazing and the made us smile the whole time. The shaded outdoor eating area was superb for breakfast and dinner. The pool was very clean, as was the Villa. We are hoping to return next year, but if everyone loves it as much as we did, I doubt it will be available! 😎😎😎

Beautiful, calm and tranquil

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Del Rei. They kitchen was full equipped with anything you could every need. Very easy to use washing facilities. The outside pool bar was a bonus for keeping drinks chilled. High chair & cot available for little ones. The area was so quiet and we felt very safe. The pool was stunning, albeit on some days I would have preferred it to be heated but that’s just luxury. The little baby pool was wonderful to just lay in and was a little warmer due to the sun heating it up. There’s so much space to be able to spread out and have your own little area. I only have two things to comment that I would change slightly, one being a pool table or something for the adults to play and second being the decor / art being modernised. It’s a lovely home, that’s been lived in and cherished. We would definitely stay again with more family members, thank you for having us.
