The only good thing about this place is the staff.
This is just an over priced establishment that wants to pretend its high end. Ive stayed numerous times with them and always seem to have a problem and its gotten worse. First of all they keep trying to give me a room literally in the lobby, ground floor with "windows" facing the kitchen/dish washing area, no privacy whatsoever and would assume fried egg smell every morning. Having a room there is BEYOND my comprehension. I complained and then they proceeded to give last floor (3 floor walk up) room with no windows. Mind you ive stayed at their establishments 4 times and tend to stay longer than usual tourists. I also reserved a few weeks ahead of time.
If you bring any guest over they will charge you a whole extra night for the guest, they said its for "safety reasons" but its not mentioned anywhere in their policies. To me that doesnt sound like a safety issue but rather taking an opportunity to rip you off and get you just like the rest of street vendors in cartagena. With such policy with such an outrageous cost should be listed and clearly .Besides that breakfast isnt all that, no different then the hotel my friend stayed that cost half the price and charge a reasonable $25 for guests. Towels had holes and worn out badly and the ac barely worked at maximum cooling. This is not a high end place and what they charge is not worth it. I worked 15 years in 5 star hotels and as a start you recognize your repeat customers
