'Lazy Bear Lodge is a great West Shore place for summer activities; ideal for spending days at Meeks, Chambers, or heading up to float the Truckee. Kitchen had everything we needed. The front seems pretty hemmed in by the neighbors but the back of the property opens up to the woods. We got to see a bear and her two cubs roll past one evening which was exciting for the kids. However, upon arrival, we found that the sheets and bathroom rugs had not been properly cleaned, and there were no extra linens available. This caused a significant delay in settling in late at night. Management was responsive and refunded the cleaning fee, but I strongly recommend ensuring the cleaning is done thoroughly before guest arrival.'

'Very Friendly intake staff! But property Needs upgrades . Numerous Cabinet doors loose and broken . Tubs discolored and warped from temporary fixes. Laundry room for the entire complex is in attic of the house and is very distracting and loud all day . Wouldn’t stay again '
