'The staff without exception were excellent. They were very helpful and made us feel very welcome. The cooked breakfast was good on both mornings. The internal appearance of the restaurant, breakfast room and lounge was very pleasing. Our room was small but adequate for a short stay. Bed linen and towels were immaculate. Negatives. Hotel supplied winter duvets which were much too warm for June. Both nights were therefore uncomfortably wam. We stayed a Sunday and Monday night and the restaurant...

'My single room was appalling. Wallpaper peeling off the wall. Windows were so high up, I couldn't see out. Very shabby. Staff were excellent. Breakfast was very good. Plenty of choice and hot.'
