Rustig gelegen woning met prachtig zwembad

De woning is mooi en modern en ligt in een landelijke omgeving. Het is niet makkelijk te vinden maar dankzij de hulp van Angela geraakten we er toch na enige omleidingen. De woning is voorzien van vele faciliteiten maar hier en daar is er toch nood aan vernieuwing zoals de airconditioning in kamer 1 die niet meer naar behoren werkt, de kast die bijna uiteen valt, de zetel buiten die vieze plekken vertoont. Ook was de woning niet zo schoon, er waren nog veel spinnenwebben in de hoekjes. Bovendien is er geen vaatwasser wat in deze tijd toch een standaard is. De woning ligt ver van alles (20 minuten tot eerste winkel en het stadje Carlentini is totaal niet toeristisch Voor een net strand moet je ook een uur rijden want Agnone Bagni beach dat dicht ligt is geen aanrader want het is er vuil. Als je houdt van rust, zit je in deze woning wel ideaal. Dankzij deze rust en het prachtige zwembad hebben wij toch een mooie vakantie gehad

Maison située au calme avec belle piscineLa maison est moderne, assez isolée entre 2 villes, difficile à trouver, nous y sommes parvenus après quelques détours. La maison est équipée de nombreux équipements, mais certains éléments auraient besoin d'être rénovés, comme la climatisation de la chambre 1, qui ne fonctionne plus correctement, de plus, il n'y a pas de lave-vaisselle. La maison est éloignée de tout (à 20 minutes du premier magasin). Très belle villa. Photos sur site son à l' image de la réalité. Les propriétaires Angela et Felippo sont des gens charmants toujours disposés à vous rendre service. Je recommande !! Cependant, il est serait de bon aloi de rajouter dans l annonce que l électricité n est pas comprise dans le prix de départ....c est un surplus à payer à la fin du séjour en fonction de la consommation et d un prix moyen...

We finally arrived at our destination after having to contact Angela the owner for some better instructions as the Sat Nav was unable to find the villa. We were welcomed by Massimo who showed us the basics. He then showed us kindly to the supermarket. You will need a car and stock up on supplies as the supermarket is a few kilometres away! The villa is stunning however does get extremely hot so keep shutters down. Use the aircom sparingly to reduce the electric cost also the units in the bedrooms are quite noisy. Unfortunately for us Etna decided to erupt so in the morning we woke up to a thick covering of ash all over the villa complex,patio,loungers etc and in and on the pool area. Unbeknown to us we were obviously expected to clean the outside complex along with the pool.(I don't think this is normal practice) As when we contacted Angela she told us Massimo was away . She told us we rented the villa she gave us instructions on how to clean the pool which was unusable with the amount of ash in it. This took hours to do. So be prepared to take care of the pool for your stay. If this is going to be the case going forward , please could this be stated in the itinerary. Massimo came the morning we left to give us the cost for the electric use.

Belle villa

La description est conforme, la maison est isolée et bien équipé avec une belle piscine, vous avez la tranquillité. Angela a toujours été à l'écoute et Massimo parfait pour résoudre les petits soucis. Il a fait très chaud cet été en utilisant la climatisation au minimum nous en avons eu pour 180€ en facture d'électricité pour 2 semaines. Nous avons passé un bon séjour.

Conforme à la description

Excellent choix pour qui recherche la tranquillité - hormis quelques aboiements ou pleurs des chiens des voisins à toute heure du jour ou de la nuit. La maison est conforme aux photos et à la description et est très fonctionnelle. Petites attentions dans le réfrigérateur à notre arrivée très appréciées. Nous n’avons jamais rencontré Angela mais avons pu communiquer par message quand nous avions besoin. Les extérieurs sont parfaits et très bien équipés . La piscine était très appréciée au retour des visites. Nous étions toujours à l’extérieur la maison restant très chaude a l’intérieur. Attention à l’utilisation des climatisations : en ne les mettant que la nuit nous avons eu une consommation de 159 euros pour deux semaines. Pour conclure la location permet de passer de bonnes vacances reposantes et confortables. Nous recommandons !

Maison de campagne modernisée : confortable mais "froide"

La description correspond bien à la réalité : maison confortable avec cuisine équipée et grande piscine, mais qui manque de charme/décoration (tout est trop blanc, carrelage, pavé, pierre, cailloux sauf une chambre noire jusqu'au plafond ! quelle idée... il manque beaucoup de verdure pour réchauffer l'atmosphère) et très peu d'ombre dans le jardin ou devant le salon ce qui est dommage vu le soleil sicilien... La situation est au calme campagnard, la piscine est grande, il y a une cuisine extérieure et un bbq ! les climatisation des chambres font un bruit infernal et les fenêtres du salon plein sud ne s'ouvrent pas : c'est un four (avec porte en métal noir)

Magnifique séjour

Nous avons passé 15 jours dans cette magnifique maison à 40 min de Syracuse . Nous étions avec nos deux ado de 17 ans et voulions de la tranquillité loin de la foule . Nous avons trouvé exactement ce que nous recherchions . Des prestations de qualité dans un cadre magnifique Quel bonheur de franchir le portail après une longue journée de visite ou de sport aquatique Les extérieurs et l’intérieur aménagés avec beaucoup de goût , cuisine extérieure et barbecue , salon de jardin à l’ombre pour le repos . La piscine est une pure merveille. Il n’y manque rien même la petite pharmacie, les anti moustiques,la climatisation dans la pièce de vie et les chambres est la bienvenue car la chaleur est importante durant la haute saison . Les bonnes petites adresses pour resto et activités . Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la mise à disposition gratuitement du linge de maison ( draps pour les lits essuies pour bain/ douche et piscine ) un vrai plus quand on voyage en avion Merci à Angela pour sa disponibilité et sa gentillesse , c’est une maison qui se partage , du moins nous l’avons ressentie comme telle , nous y avons trouvé des petites provisions et y avons laissé les nôtres non entamées comme pour souhaiter un bon séjour aux locataires suivants Merci à Massimo pour sa gentillesse et sa réactivité en cas de besoin ... Un très beau souvenir vraiment En un mot , allez y ...

Magnifique villa !

Très belle location, parfaitement équipée et très au calme sans voisinage. Située entre Catania et Syracusa ( attention GPS indispensable pour la trouver ou alors bien suivre les indications d'Angela ) , localisation parfaite pour découvrir l'est de la Sicile. Nous y avons séjourné à 4 en famille 1 semaine en juillet 2018. Très belle piscine, pergola parfaite pour repas et détente ( + ombre ) , oliviers et citronniers. Climatisation pièces de vie et chambres ( attention surcoût à prévoir, 70 euros pour nous en 1 semaine pour clim soir et nuit ) Conseils avisés d' Angela tout au long du séjour. Accueil par Massimo et sa famille ( ils ne parlent qu'italien par contre) . Très bon rapport qualité / prix. La location vaut le coût assez élevé au vu des prestations. Nous recommandons vraiment cette location ( et nous louons des maisons depuis de nombreuses années donc pouvons comparer ) même si elle est isolée et qu'il faut donc prendre la voiture pendant 15 mn pour faire des courses par ex . C'est le prix de la tranquillité. Allez y, la Sicile est sublime et authentique et les gens adorables .. Nous recommandons 1 semaine pour l'est et 1 autre pour l'ouest. .

Proper Lovely!

We drove from Palermo to Villa Gavetta stopping in Enna on the way over. We were in contact with Angela the owner who gave us detailed directions. The villa is secluded and a little remote, so we were organised when it came to shopping for food. The Villa itself is beautiful. very tastefully decorated, spacious, super clean and very, very well equipped. The photos do not really do justice to the reality. Our nearest neighbour was a herd of goats wearing bells which tinkled from the distance making the whole experience even more fairytale! Lizards scurrying up the white walls, olive trees burgeoning with fruit, lemon trees and prickly pears (we picked one - very carefully following instructions on youtube) different but quite nice! The wifi works well, the beds are comfortable. The Villa itself is situated really well for sightseeing, not far from the airport in Catania, we visited Mt Etna, Syracuse, Ortegia, Notto, Catania, Taormino, all within easy reach. And the local town/city Augusta very buzzy. The local beach Aneone Bagni (sp) is rubbish though - literally full of rubbish, so stick to the pool! We would absolutely stay here again. We loved the privacy yet not far from everything we wanted to see. You will not be disappointed

Villa très agréable pour un séjour en famille

Nous avons séjourné14 nuits dans cette villa avec nos deux enfants. Nous y avons passé de très agréables vacances. La villa est très confortable, tout y est récent. Il ne manque rien dans la cuisine, tout est fonctionnel. Les extérieurs sont extraordinaires et très bien aménagés avec une belle vue sur la campagne et les oliviers. Nous avons énormément profité de la piscine et avons partagé nos repas sous la pergola. Tout est bien pensé dans cette villa pour la vie au quotidien. Nous avons néanmoins regretté qu il n'y ait pas de climatisation dans les chambres car il faisait très chaud le soir et la climatisation du salon ne permettait pas de refroidir toutes les pièces. Nous avons visité Syracuse, Catania, Noto, Taormina et l Etna, la villa est proche des axes autoroutiers. Le soir, nous sommes souvent allés dîner à Brucoli, très sympa et proche . Angela a toujours été à notre écoute et soucieuse de nous satisfaire. Massimo nous a très bien accueillis. Nous retournerons avec plaisir en Sicile dans cette villa si l occasion se représente!
