'We stayed here for the Ironman. Since our son qualified late we were very lucky to find this place. Communication with Sarah was perfect from the beginning. 'First impression driving into the parking lot it does not seem as fantastic a complex. Get up to your room and every detail is very clean, organized and well thought out. The best part is the location… our unit had the best view of the Mokuaikaua Church and go down to the parking garage, walk through the exit and you were right down in the middle of downtown Kona, where you cannot find parking it was amazing… '

'We had a wonderful stay here! I was a little nervous about no AC but being up the mountain it was beautiful. When we lost power for a short time they immediately reached out to us to keep us informed. If I’m ever back on the big island again I will definitely stay here again. My nephew loved our friendly balcony geckos. '

'My family had a wonderful stay here. The view was amazing, the pool was huge and the space was perfect for our needs. The main space is not air conditioned and it did get pretty warm during the day but it didn't really didn't have a big impact on my family. The bedrooms have ac. The boathouse was an awesome apartment for my grandson. The kitchen was well equipped and the grill was adequate.'

'This was our first time vacationing on The Big Island after many years of visiting Oahu, Kauai and Maui. This island and THIS HOUSE were worth the wait!!! 'This house could not have been more perfect for our summer vacation for our family of 10. We all enjoyed the beautifully designed, very clean pool. Location was close to beach and other places we wanted to visit. Communication with owner was excellent -- we particularly appreciated the booklet sent to us before our trip that outlined fun things to do and places to see. 'Our stay was wonderful. We appreciated the details like having beach equipment and a cooler available and night lights in the condo. The well equipped kitchen and washer dryer really helped our family for the logistics of life. We loved the beach access for the kiddos to play in the sand (not a swimming beach) and watch sunsets. The view and beach access at this townhouse are simply unparalleled! 'Easily the best VRBO experience we've ever had. The property is super clean and well equipped; the rate is reasonable for Hawaii and less than 10 minutes from shopping in Kona. 'The view from the outside deck and the home overall was exceptional. It takes a bit of a drive up some steep hills to get to the house and we had a little bit of a mixup at check-in, but Radu quickly resolved everything and got us into the house ASAP. So many things were provided for inside the home, including snorkel and beach gear, and they thought of everything. My kids loved staying there and it was a central location to explore the entire island from. Highly recommend!'

'Totally Awesome. Great location and super nice. We stayed 11 days. Nice extras beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, and snorkeling stuff. View watching the surfing is nice with early am coffee on the deck. Can’t say enough. '

"In general the property was quite nice. Rooms are spacious if somewhat run down (they were doing some renovations though so that might be solved soon). It is in a nice location by the ocean and the bar/restaurant was very enjoyable with good staff. The pool is somewhat small but acceptable, the private lagoon somewhat makes up for this though (it is also a great place to try out your snorkel before going into the ocean). The hotel is within walking distance of the town which is useful for finding food, drinks and other small shopping. Main issue we had was that the big trucks driving past can be quite loud if you are on that side of the hotel. The AC was also very loud and right above the bed, it also turned on and off every few minutes throughout the night so if you are sensitive to sound this might be nice to know. In general I would recommend this hotel if you can get a good deal on the price. It is quite nice for a 3* hotel. "
