Best Property on Isla

The property is absolutely beautiful. Plenty of privacy, plants, murals and relaxing decor along with 3 swimming pools on each level provide guests with multiple spaces to unwind. Fabulous views of the ocean can be seen from the 2nd and 3rd levels. I set my alarm every morning to get up to watch the sunrise out of the sea and never had to leave the property.Direct access to the ocean is half a block away in either direction. There is a walking/running path along the ocean to take in the views. This a great quiet location on the south side of the island. Close walking distance to Rancho Capricho, the Burro, the Joint, Kin-Ha, Punta Sur, beach clubs and Ulan. Susan arranged a golf cart to be delivered the day after we arrived. It was great being able to go to North Beach and the busier areas of Isla but then being able to return to a quiet, more relaxing atmosphere on the south side. Shelly and Susan are the kindest and nicest owners. They are on-site to assist with anything you need; recommendations on places to go, eat, secret beaches, restaurants, massages, etc. Shelly's cooking skills blew us away! She cooked the best breakfasts we have ever eaten on a vacation. She also cooked us and three other couples who were staying at the property a fantastic surf and turf meal for dinner one night. The mushroom appetizer, tomahawk ribeyes, tenderloin wellington, fish, lobster, sides, dessert, and margaritas was the best meal we ever ate! Book this property!

If you're looking for a quiet out of the way spot on Isla Mujeres this is for you. Much quieter than the north part of the island. Shelly and Susan are great hosts.

First Time to Isla

I would much rather stay on this side of the Isla than the other options. This unit was very spacious with a lot of cool public spots to enjoy at multi levels. Breakfast was adequate. Nice amenities in the room with daily service which doesn't come with very many VRBOs. A golf cart delivered to the place on the next morning of arrival was awesome. It took me a day to understand that the island over populates daily with ferry riders from the mainland and it just goes crazy with golf carts, so early morning outings and late afternoons are best to explore the island without getting run over. I can see why some folks would return to the island again and again. For me, once was enough, but if I ever did visit, I would definitely stay at the Jardin!

AMAZING place

Truly can't say enough positive things about Casa de Jardin and Shelley and Sue. The place is beautiful and very thoughtfully designed. The rooms are huge, tastefully designed, and clean. There are three pools. Three! The location is excellent -- walkable to delicious tacos, multiple beach clubs and beaches, bars, Punta Sur (a park at the end of the island), and convenience shops. The staff are very kind and always helpful. But the best part... the breakfast is amazing. Delicious, fresh, creative. We were always ready for a fun day after starting it off so well with their homemade breakfast. You'll have an excellent time staying here. We are already looking forward to visiting again.

A Fabulous Stay

We had the Jardin Suite, on the main floor, beside the largest and warmest of the three pools. It had a kitchenette, sofa, dining table, a separate, large bedroom with a king-sized bed, and 1 1/2 bathrooms. The ensuite bathroom was large with a huge shower. Marcella, the wonderful, helpful concierge, stocked the place with a few grocery items that we ordered, as well as a complimentary treat basket and coffee. This coffee was specially blended by one of the owners, Shelly, who is a chef, and it was delicious, as were the breakfasts. The rest of the B&B consists of 6 suites, a dining area for the included breakfast, and 3 pools—the one outside our suite on the main floor, and two smaller, unheated pools on decks on the third and fourth levels. The deck on the top level also has hammocks and swings, and the owners are planning to have happy hours up there eventually. 

From the top deck, we could see both the east and west coasts of the island, each of which were only about 2 blocks away. Gorgeous views!
 We loved the location of La Casa de Jardin, and we're so glad we chose this place. It was away from all the busyness of the area near the ferry terminal and Playa Norte. It's near the much quieter, southern tip of the island. As the island is small, it is easy to go to the busy area when one wants to, but we rarely wanted to. There is a wonderful little beach very close to the b&b, and the snorkelling there was fantastic. We also loved spending time on the rooftop.

Yes a great hideaway with a chef and her help in the morning.three little pools at different levels.Pretty private; only four spacious rooms.Real good music,tacos and mojitos a stones throw away.I gave some trinkets away and we tipped well.Great find I must say myself.

Amazing!!!

From the minute we arrived to the moment we left there was nothing short of total amazement in all that was available and offered! ❤️ Shelley and Susan go above and beyond to meet all your needs! Our suite was outstanding and we had a pool right out our front door! Beds so comfortable and great size! Shower was large in size and lots of hot water. Breakfast was included in our package and is prepared by Chef Shelley! And these breakfasts were beyond outstanding. Shelley and Susan were able to have a golf cart delivered and picked up right to our location which was a huge bonus! Great location in being quiet and great spot to snorkel not far from location. Nadine added to our stay in daily housecleaning which was top notch! ❤️ Shelley and Susan provided tips on restaurants and locations to take in which never left us disappointed. There was also access to a massage right in our room which I definitely took advantage of and throughly enjoyed! This location has three pools in total which allows for spots to view sunsets and sunrises. I believe we arrived as visitors and left as friends! We will definitely be returning soon! I could go on and on about how much we enjoyed our stay so I will leave it to you to make this your memorable vacation location ❤️

Captured Paradise

A beautiful private property off the beaten path and into tranquility. The most perfect hosts Susan and Shelly provide you with such a beautiful setting of magical nights on the roof listening to the ocean and looking at the magical surroundings and sky. The rooms are huge and provide everything you need to make you feel like you are finally home. Beautiful pools, painted murals and little touches that make it so special and different. Susan and Shelly arranged our golf carts so they were at the property when we arrived. They provided us with great information and we felt like we were staying with family. We travel the Isla Mujeras two or three times a year and this will be the only place we stay.
