Although we live at the Jersey shore, we had to head to the Erie area Fourth of July weekend for our nephews wedding. To ease the pain of having to leave the beach on a holiday weekend, we decided to make a little vacation out of it. In my search for an VRBO, I stumbled upon this house and we couldnāt have been happier!
Although the house is CLEAN, comfortable and very cute, our favorite spot was the back deck overlooking the lake. Each morning we'd have our coffee on the deck and watch the birds of every color flutter around, a doe and her fawns stroll along the bank, muskrat swimming around and eagles soaring overhead. It was unbelievable peaceful and beautiful. In the evening, we'd head out to the deck again, light the gas fire pit and relax some more.
Other highlights of this property are the comfy beds, the ping pong table (my husband couldn't be beaten), the availability of bikes, kayaks and cornhole games as well as the easy communication with Amy.
I don't know if we will be back in the area in the future, but if we are, we'd love to rent the house again.
