Pros-
I made the reservation at the last minute and because it was after 12 it had me check in at 3pm that day. Which was fine. As long as the hotel has room, usually they are able to just change the reservation. I mistakenly asked for a smoking room but he was able to change it for me.
The staff was friendly and other than the below complaint, the room was clean and the sheets even smelled really good.
Cons -
However, changing the room to nonsmoking didn’t seem to matter. Either the room was once a smoking room or there were smoking rooms all around it because it was SO pungent that I barely slept. I was too tired to go and ask for another room as I’d been driving for over 10 hours. And there was an ashtray in the room as well.
The continental breakfast was a joke however. I know it’s “free” but lordt. There was a whole loaf of bread, and some milk and cereal. I think, it was cereal. They did have coffee and flavored creamer which was great and 2 cinnamon bun roll things.
All in all, good in a pinch but probably not all it could have been for almost 80 bucks.
