'On the surface it would appear rustic, but that is not the case. The comforts included with this Tipi are wonderful. This is glamping at its best with the full kitchen and beautiful bathroom. It was wonderful to sit out and enjoy the dark night sky. Gary and Rachel provided pellets for the wood stove which was necessary for the chilly nights. Gary also responded to any question I had within minutes. Great trip!'

'Cute little suite. Full kitchen. One small snag, the front door was deadbolt locked when we arrived (unable to enter via keyless entry) and the owners had to come let us in. Response was prompt, they were there in 10 minutes. The place served our needs. No livingroom area but when its just where you're sleeping between adventures, that works out fine.'

'Picture's do absolutely no justice to this house and its surroundings, The owners were gracious and checked on us several times. Outside temps hit 17 and the inside was nice and cozy. Only thing I would change was having more time to spend there. Will be going back. The view of the Dolores river out the back is nothing short of amazing.'

'This was our 2nd stay and we enjoyed ourselves tremendously. No pretentions, just what we expected for a cottage on the reservoir in the country. We had everything we needed to make lovely meals. 'This property was located perfectly for day excursions to Mesa Verde and Durango. We enjoyed the hot tub and game room. Very comfortable furnishings. My only suggestion would be to install screens on the windows and doors. We couldn’t open them at certain times of day due to the bugs.'

'This is a property next to a home, but it’s away from the home. I personally liked the physical location. The apartment-it’s like an apartment attached to a garage-was outside of Cortez and looked out into a ravine. The hostess was very helpful and responsive. A great experience overall.'
