Beautiful locations and place

The Villa is extraordinary. Four large bedrooms all with large bathroom suites and walk-in closets. Kitchen is well stocked and large. Pool is amazing. Golf course right off the back yard.

Wonderful stay!

Reserva Conchal was lovely to stay at! Beautiful grounds and the Beach Club was the best! Enjoyed the hiking trails and especially the Beach Club, which has fantastic food available at Neemda (gluten free options were even available)! Use of the kayaks, SUP's, boogie boards, bikes and cabanas are all included! The home itself was comfortable, clean and had everything you need for a wonderful stay! The infinity pool in the Carao community was also beautiful!

"Exquisite" says Father-in-law

This VRBO perfectly met all my family’s wishes. (10- & 12-yr-old boys, two in late 40s and two in mid-80s). My father-in-law claimed this place was exquisite. My mother-in-law has an above the knee prosthetic leg and having all the main living spaces on one level was great. The downstairs space was great for the boys and there was enough space for us to gather or disperse. Our sons loved the pool & walking straight outside from the bedroom. I loved all the birds, the pool, the master suite, and howler monkeys we heard in the morning. The property mgmt was excellent. Their communication was prompt, helpful and not invasive. Neenda restaurant has great food. The beach club was great, and the staff was outstanding. We checked out boogie boards and wanted to check-out kayaks, but it was too windy. The gym was fully equipped to lift heavy and get cardio in. You can see the pool and beach from the gym studio.

Pleasant stay

The community is the best, everything you need and gorgeous beach.The house is located in a quiet spot, beautiful sunset and a comfortable for our family.Has everything you need and barbecue grill was very useful and entertaining.It may need maintainable in some of the areas or a deep clean. This is in particular on the bathrooms where the hard water leaves metal and glass with a stain that looks dirty.Maybe needs to use as specific product.There is a nice terrace by the pool with exterior furniture but not enough lighting. This is a nice space to have a snack or drink at night.But everything went well.

Beautiful home

Beautiful home, excellent location, excellent communication, super clean, showers and bathrooms were great, same as beds. Love that there is a shower outside by the pool and that you can access a bathroom from outside. I came with family, it was 8 of us. I cooked for the majority of the time and they have pretty much everything for me to cook. There is not much of containers for leftovers, but that’s not a big deal for me. They also have great recommendations for restaurants that we tried too. Love the fact we can use the club house gym and pool, we went every day pretty much. When things were not working communication was super easy. Everything super clear really. I will highly recommend for sure..

Nice Stay but some good to know information

We had a very nice stay. The unit was overall clean and representative of what you see online. We had issues with mold or dirt on the bathtub jets and trouble with the main bedroom TV, but they were very responsive. While there are hotels within the resort, one should not expect to get any dinner reservations there. We also recommend a golf cart. The unit could also se a fresh paint coat and deep clean but was still very nice. It’s a beautiful property and resort and our kids loved it.

Fantastic family getaway!

We had such a great time at Villa Carao. The house was perfect for my family. Each of my three teens had their own room with bathroom—they were in heaven. The open layout on the first floor is perfect for gathering. The hang out area on the lower floor is a great place for a separate way to hang out or watch TV. There is a lot of glass and balconies with views of the trees and golf course. Super peaceful. The private pool and outside seating was so nice. The unit is close to the Carao pool club area which was also super nice as an option with the smooth infinity pool. The unit is about 5 min walk to the Westin and 15 min walk to the beach club and golf shop. We also tried some of the trails nearby which was fun. There is the nature reserve on the property which we did not get to take advantage of because it’s only open Monday Wednesday and Friday and we already had events plans for those days. We also did not even need to take advantage of purchasing day passes for the Westin because the Beach club had everything we needed. If you have small kids, Westin might be a good option. Overall this place was just super fantastic for my family with three teenagers. If you don’t like walking you can always rent a golf cart or a car and drive down to the beach club it’s about 10 minutes. It was also great to have a rental car to check out the local area. The management company was really great with communication via email and text. Highly recommend Villa Carao.

Playa Conchal Stay

The property was perfectly located in the Reserva Conchal. It allowed us to roam throughout the community and also be accessible to the neighboring beaches, such as Flamingo and Tamarindo. The house overall was nice; however, required some maintenance of its appliances and amenities. The dryer was under repair when we arrived and then malfunctioning by the last day. The grill never got hot enough. The primary bedroom’s lights flickered constantly. I would recommend staying here versus at the resort for the privacy, while still having access to the beach. I also appreciated the recommendations from the hosts for excursions, private chef and surrounding super markets/shops, etc.

Beautiful Home/ Great Assistance with Management

This home was lovely. We stayed with my 2 girls one husband and a boyfriend. It was gorgeous and all we needed was more time. Lucy is the 5 Star Manager in Costa Rica and Fernanda is one of the Concierge's in the Reserva Conchal area. Both were Amazing!! We will go back. You can access the Westin and the W hotels by paying for the day or making a reservation at one of the restaurants but the Beach Club and Spa we had access to for free were amazing!! And the food there was Great! The only suggestion I had for them was to provide the book of info in the home to the guest as soon as possible. It had everything in it I had asked questions about. And could have saved us all a ton of time! Request it if you book the house. We will return!! I really appreciated all the help from both Lucy and Fernanda!!

Costa Rica is Great

The house is in excellent condition. The services at the included beach club are also great, pool, food, drinks, spa, and really nice gym! I also got to play tennis with the local pro a couple of times. It was super easy to book and costs so much less than playing in the US, only $50/hour. We will be back!
